Want to get DTDs some as they look highly practical for children...but can't convince DP that I should spend £40 on shoes for them

Are threre any probs with the Pumpkin Patch/Next alternatives?

Are there any other alternatives I should know about?

I got DDs from Sweet Feet. I ordered them at 3pm and they arrived the next day. No charge for P&P. I was very impressed.

ekra · 24/04/2007 20:25

Oh - the website is crocshoes.co.uk Don't type in Sweet Feet as some sex shop comes up

Kids Caymen start at size 6/7.

TMPwearsCROCSforHEIFER · 24/04/2007 20:27

HEY HEIFER!!!

got some crocs that are HEIFER size y'know!

TMPwearsCROCSforHEIFER · 24/04/2007 20:28

In fact they are bovine coloured in black and white ...

c'mon you know you want to ...

Nemo2007 · 24/04/2007 20:38

welshboris I got ds and dd some cheap versions of crocs from ebay. Think they were £5 each plus postage. They start from a size 4 which DD1 has. They are the resin stuff aswell rather than rubber.

Flamesparrow · 24/04/2007 20:42

Welshboris - Hargreaves have the sketchers ones as small as a 5 (I am disturbingly temped for DS!!)

ChippyMinton · 24/04/2007 20:43

saw some Skechers ones in SportsWorld for a tenner - have sent my friend whose DD has real crocs (from costco) to compare and comment...for the children, of course, not me

TMP - HEIF OFF

I hope your feet get all sweaty and that you get another blister...

And I hope that the man of your dreams (apart from DH) knocks on your door, whilst you are in your dressing gown, curlers and CROCS...

The maryjane style ones are the BEST for kids I bougt them in black for my girls and I cannot gettehm off tehir feet. They are wearing them as school shoes. Hence I justify the £20 a pair I spent!!

here they look great and are practical too. The gold is rather cute as well

SlightlyMadSecret · 24/04/2007 21:43

ooo I quite like the Mary Janes, they look a lot more 'normal' than the caymenes/beach etc...

I guess they will have to be the originals for that style tho ....DP is not impressed with £20 a pair

highly practical?

and a pair of sandshoes isn't?

crunchie · 24/04/2007 23:04

yes practical, non slip, more protective than open toes sandles, usful in the garden and beach, wear to school etc etc.

Normally I bu 'proper' navy blue school sandles that get worn for all of 6 weeks in teh summer term. Crocs are being worn now during teh week for school and weekends at teh beach/ in the garden etc etc.

So practical imho

Another bad experience with Fatshoesday.com here. I ordered some Crocs for dd1, received a confirmation email, waited 2 weeks, no sign of the Crocs, so I phoned them. They told me my order had been cancelled, but didn't know why.

They then sent out a pair which were not in the size I had ordered, so there was a further delay waiting to exchange them. They did send me a couple of free jibbitz (at my suggestion) to make up for the mistakes, though.

treacletart · 25/04/2007 09:56

I noticed some fake crocs in Peacocks the other day in loads of colours for £5 a pair...
