I am a size 6 shoe.

Can wear heels up to about 2 inches but prefer flats tbh.

I've been around loads of shoe shops today and my feet are to wide for the pumps that are around at the moment.

I need to be able to wear them to drive in, to go on the preschool run, and go to the park in. So, they need to be all rounders.

Please dont suggest Crocs.

So no glass slippers then?

That was rubbish wasn't it, lol.

SNOWBall4girlz · 21/04/2007 20:15

none in next?
I have seen some nice cut out pumps in there that are cute and practical too.

glassslipper · 21/04/2007 20:16

Nbg - made me lol so DH is now wondering what I'm up to.

Tried Next. Couldnt see anything too fab but it was a small shop.

Nice little wedge sandal
cute
Grazia loves them apparently
bit different
Love these

ViscountessPetitLapin · 21/04/2007 20:18

Would the mention of the word "loafer" make you scream in horror?

Camper has a few nice sandals like these.

glassslipper · 21/04/2007 20:21

Like the 'bit different' ones Nbg but I just think my feet might be a bit wide for that lovely pump style.

Hadnt considered that type of wedge sandal. Normally have wedge mules but they looik quite nice.

VPL - I haven't worn loafers since I was at school but if they were comfy and not tooooo dull I might consider them. That's kind of how desperate I am.

You'd have to try them GS.
Have you ever bought a half size or size bigger to help.
I have wide feet and I do that.

ViscountessPetitLapin · 21/04/2007 20:22

Or, completely different, I have these and I think UCM just bought some (they are a funky watersports trainer, very very comfortable for running around in, and look cool I think)

Housemum · 21/04/2007 20:24

I bought these ones in Next - my feet are size 8 and not wide enough for wide fit but not dainty either - they actually look good on my large plates so they'd be great on a size 6!

Next shoes

ViscountessPetitLapin · 21/04/2007 20:24

Moccasins?

glassslipper · 21/04/2007 20:24

grumpyfrumpy - I have some sandals from Clarks which i wore a lot last year. Fancy a change though.

spidermama - like the camper ones. Not sure i could drive in them though.

Nbg - i tried those on today Feet too wide for them and they squashed my toes a bit

VPL - a bit too trainerish. I have something quite similar.

here?
maybe?
more choice in the directory

glassslipper · 21/04/2007 20:27

Housemum - love them but dont want dark really. something summery.

Nbg - tried bigger sizes today and my heel kept slipping out

VPL - would consider moccasins actually. Does that mean I'm getting old?

Nbg · 21/04/2007 20:28

Awww bum, thats a shame.

ViscountessPetitLapin · 21/04/2007 20:29

glass_slipon quite possibly!

Checked your profile for age (none given you sly minx) - your DSs are completely adorable!

glassslipper · 21/04/2007 20:30

grumpyfrumpy. like those. have never heard of camper actually. does that make me very sad? where could i find them to try some on?

snowball4girls - some nice ones there. think i might go and find a big Next with better range than the one i went to today.
