I am a size 6 shoe.

Can wear heels up to about 2 inches but prefer flats tbh.

I've been around loads of shoe shops today and my feet are to wide for the pumps that are around at the moment.

I need to be able to wear them to drive in, to go on the preschool run, and go to the park in. So, they need to be all rounders.

Please dont suggest Crocs.

The brown ones in Next are a sort of "distressed" brown so imagine brown that's got some dust rubbed in IYSWIM!!

Don't go for ballerina style shoes. They're terribly bad for your feet. Because they're like ballet shoes and very low on the foot, there's nothing to hold them on your foot so they have to be worn very small (just like ballet shoes, of course). They cause all sorts of foot problems if you wear them for any length of time. Go for something more anatomically designed, such as by Hush Puppies or Flyflot. Your feet will thank you!

thanks housemum - willt ake a look.

80smum - that explains why every time i tried on a size 6 it felt like they were a size 4. i've accepted they are NOT designed for me.

Next have some nice wedge Birkinstock style sandals. Very comfy and about 1.5" heel.
