Not used to a short trousers look
Do i look odd?
The trousers are Blue, jacket Blue velvet, boots Blue suede (different tones but boots and trousers similar)
Got Grey tights under.
To me it isnt quite right.
Before i go out like this to work tomorrow can you either reassure me or point me in the right direction please.

No I don’t think it’s a good look either. Ankle grazers are in fashion, but wear them with bare legs and loafers. It doesn’t look right with socks and short boots. A bit max wall ,,,Grin

Dancinggoat · 26/11/2017 17:10

It looks great and more important if you like it wear it.
The look is in at the moment and fine for your age.

TroysMammy · 26/11/2017 17:14

Sorry but the short trousers remind me of Mr Noseybonk from the children's programme Jigsaw.

NotAgainYoda · 26/11/2017 17:14

My issue with short trousers is that if you are anything other than very slim, it can make your legs look short and stumpy

NotAgainYoda · 26/11/2017 17:14

Troy

Stobbit!! He gave me nightmares

Rollerbird · 26/11/2017 17:18

Honest please - do my legs look stumpy
( i prefer truth to ego massage)
I think now it's been said they sort of do..

Wear the shoe on the right leg. Lovely doggy Smile

Rollerbird · 26/11/2017 17:21

The Blue one?

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 26/11/2017 17:22

Doggy is telling you which one

NinonDeLenclos · 26/11/2017 17:24

Yes, I like your cupboards though.

Doggy pic - both shoes are fine but I prefer the left.

AnyFucker · 26/11/2017 17:24

Although I still say heeled low fronted boots

Your legs do need lengthening. Flat shoes won't do that

Ollivander84 · 26/11/2017 17:28

Yes the one the dog likes! And agree with Any - I like the dipped front ankle boots and wear them a lot, mine are Dune cara boots

NotAgainYoda · 26/11/2017 17:35

I'm sorry; they do. I am not Claudia Schiffer myself BTW

Rollerbird · 26/11/2017 17:39

Ok another boot pic (sorry)
I didnt realise i had this much footwear!
(Cant find dune cara?)

The darker ones are hideous but I like the tan ones

Rollerbird · 26/11/2017 17:42

Those debenhams boots are nice

NotAgainYoda · 26/11/2017 17:45

I like the tan ones!

AnyFucker · 26/11/2017 17:47

The tan ones instantly lengthen your legs

AnyFucker · 26/11/2017 17:49

Some bargainous boots on that Debenhams link. I would stick with the tan ones though. A nice contrast with the rest of the outfit, IMO

NinonDeLenclos · 26/11/2017 17:50

Thus far the taupe ankle boots and the slippers the dog likes work best.

What about something like this (Not suggesting at that price)

Bluntness100 · 26/11/2017 17:50

The beige suede boots work surprisingly well..,you suit that.

NotAgainYoda · 26/11/2017 17:54

Where did you get those suede ones? I really like them

Maybe I too can wear short trousers

Tartyflette · 26/11/2017 17:59

Yep, the beige suede ankle boots look best. (Where are they from? Smile )

Rollerbird · 26/11/2017 18:02

The tan ones (more mink) are from asda about 3 or 4 years ago. And REALLY comfy)
I rolled up one leg of trousers on that pic - assuming that looks better?
