Ugly lanyard

Probably very vain of me but the badge lanyard I have to use at work every day ruins all my outfits!!!
Does anyone know if it's possible to get a strong decent looking lanyard instead of the thick green or orange tape I am made to wear!! Grr

Reading about muff chains has brightened my morning (yes, I am that childish)!

I have to wear a red lanyard and it's not the lanyard itself that bothers me, it's the terrible unflattering photo on the badge! I purposefully wear it the wrong way so no one can see it.

Thanks for link - I have just ordered the plainest one I could find from maisie-jane.

We have to wear ours at all times (and they open the doors) and I have mine on a hideous thing which annoys me.

We have to wear a particular colour, which is bloody annoying.

The Cath Kidston ones have the advantage of being lovely and soft.
