Tinted moisturiser recommendations?

Hi all, can anyone recommend a great tinted moisturiser please? I have fairly normal skin and don't need massive of coverage ... at the moment!

Thank you

Of all those I've tried the cheapest, Nivea, suits my skin best. I get a lot of compliments about my skin which I think is partially down to the Nivea tinted day cream.

LoniceraJaponica · 20/10/2017 21:34

Most of the ones I have tried have too much coverage and nothing I have tried has as light a coverage as the Boots no 7 Intelligent Colour foundation. It is really light and doesn't feel like a foundation.

ImADingleDangleScarecrow · 20/10/2017 22:26

I like Dior skin bb cream. I don’t really bother with foundation anymore now that I’ve discovered it!

Housewife2010 · 20/10/2017 23:25

Chantecaille Just Skin.

Nivea tinted moisturiser here

chipsandgin · 20/10/2017 23:37

Origins energy boosting moisturiser with mangosteen, they'll do a free tester at the Origins counter. Best tinted moisturiser ever, adjusts to your skin tone, the holy grail of tinted moisturisers!!

BinkyandBunty · 21/10/2017 04:56

I couldn't find one that perfectly matched my skin tone and didn't oxidise. I also had trouble finding one that was moisturizing enough without looking greasy.

So now I mix my favourite SPF moisturiser with a blob of my favourite foundation in my palm and voila, a lighter version of my normal makeup, without having to buy a 3rd product.

Another vote for Laura Mercier!

Longislandicetee · 21/10/2017 09:29

Another vote for Nars. Absolutely fantastic! Not too drying, not too oily with great coverage.

Cheesymonster · 21/10/2017 09:33

Are any of these good for pale skin? I am using garnier BB cream but I had to buy it off amazon in “extra light” because the light one made me orange!

Greenteandchives · 21/10/2017 09:33

I use the Garnier Skin Active BB cream with Blur. It is the only product I have re purchased when it ran out.

theaveragewife · 21/10/2017 09:36

Nars, when I put it on I look like me - just slightly less knackered.

Bluesheep8 · 21/10/2017 10:09

Another vote for bare minerals complexion rescue, can be a bit too dewy when first applied but then settled down and is lovely.

ElspethFlashman · 21/10/2017 10:29

Another vote for Nars which is lovely. I wear Ivory in most foundations and use Terre Nueve in the Nars. Get it on ASOS and you can return it if you don't like it!

Gunpowder · 21/10/2017 10:40

Really Elspeth? Do they do that for all makeup? That’s brilliant. Have wasted a fortune in make up mistakes over the years.

ElspethFlashman · 21/10/2017 11:09

YES!

I returned a V expensive Illamasqua foundation after using it 3 times! (It was plasticky muck)

Gunpowder · 21/10/2017 11:18

Ooh thank you. That’s a brilliant tip.

ElspethFlashman · 21/10/2017 11:28

Just read the fine print in case they've changed it since then! That was a couple of years ago.

plum1304 · 21/10/2017 11:41

Wow so many recommendations - thank you! Will go to space nk this afternoon for a play!

I use PHB BB cream as I like the fact it has natural ingredients. I buy from the ecobeauty website but am sure you can get it elsewhere.

My 40+ skin has never looked as good, the coverage is light and it blends in well to make my skin look bright and refreshed.

toriah · 21/10/2017 13:01

I use Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Gel, it comes in different colours., and it's fab :) if you order from qvc, you have a 30 days money back guarantee, so you can send it back if you don't like it. (only pay for postage)

LoniceraJaponica · 21/10/2017 13:16

I would like to try some of these recommendations, but would prefer to go into an actual shop rather than buy and send back umpteen times. Can anyone say which shops sell what please?

mydrawstring · 21/10/2017 13:21

I get my Laura Mercier from Space NK, House of Fraser or JL.

Tip - ask if they will allow you to take away a little sample when you buy a new foundation. So you’ve paid for the product, but ask them to give you a sample of the same shade in a little pot. Then when you get home, use the sample and decide if you are 100% happy with it. If not, you can exchange your unopened paid product. I did this with the Nars Sheer Glow from Space NK and I’m so glad that I did as it was shite after a couple of hours wear.
