I must admit I'm a bit of an unreconstructed hippy at heart...!

a few yrs ago I went to a 60s evening and really went to town with the outfit, had a real laugh, and loads of people there thought I was a genuine 60s / 70s throwback who dressed like that all the time and went from 60s do to 60s do...!

hitchcock · 10/04/2007 19:24

i like that how much

roseylea · 10/04/2007 19:24

THat is nice Flutter - presumably they don't do them in smaller sizes? (darn!)

flutterbee · 10/04/2007 19:26

See converted you all already

flutterbee · 10/04/2007 19:27

Nowt below 16 I'm afraid (for the first time in my life I'm smug because I'm fat)

hitchcock · 10/04/2007 19:28

OrvilleRedenbacher · 10/04/2007 19:28

roseylea · 10/04/2007 19:29

pointydog · 10/04/2007 19:47

I'd look preggers in one.

Or like a great big Hamble.

pointydog · 10/04/2007 19:48

Was that really her name and what sort of name is that?

Gobbledigook · 10/04/2007 19:51

No. THey are minging

MrsApron · 10/04/2007 19:59

Hamble the doll on Playschool?

My 3 yr old is currently looking fabulous in smocks and leggings.

Gobbledigook · 10/04/2007 19:59

God well remembered! I wondered what she meant by Hamble!! Blimey, that takes me back!

pointydog · 10/04/2007 20:06

yes. Hamble had a smock dress thing

MrsApron · 10/04/2007 20:09

Hambel apparently

pointydog · 10/04/2007 20:10

"ugly old Hambel"

MrsApron · 10/04/2007 20:12

She was a bit minging.

I liked humpty best.

pointydog · 10/04/2007 20:14

I am wearing a plain navy one from Next sale - bargain £7, not maternity, yet covers bump more than adequately.
OK if PG IMO.
Otherwise who said (someone on MN)

pointydog · 10/04/2007 20:20

i wear smoky stuff in the beleif it will cover my less than exciting squidgy middle region.
i do not, however, presently have access to a full length mirror.
this could be a Bad Thing (and i look like a twat wuithout knowing)
or a Good Thing (and i look like a twat, but ignorance is bliss)

who can say?
