I'll be watching this thread too...I've got big norks and I HATE trying to buy summer tops to hide arms, show off norks (in none tarty way of course...) and hide stomach/muffin top....c'est impossiiiiiible

misdee · 09/04/2007 16:16

i have a lovely white tunic top top that fits well from tesco last summer, but this year everything seems 'wrong'

Yep, everything in huge sixties prints, long dress type tunics which you have to be careful with with big norks to avoid looking pg or teeny strap tops which are no good to anybody but the slim of arm

Lio · 09/04/2007 16:19

Signing on so that I can keep an eye on this too.

misdee · 09/04/2007 16:20

i like this but am unsure

i am terrible at clothes shopping.

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 09/04/2007 16:21

know this is pricey but this kind of shape any good?

MrsBadger · 09/04/2007 16:22

like that one misdee

Monsoon seems to be the place

misdee · 09/04/2007 16:22

i'm a F cup, that style of top never works for me. but i dont want anything that will just hang off them.

OP posts:
Lio · 09/04/2007 16:23

misdee i hate clothes shopping too - thought for a whie it was because am bit fat with huge norks but actually not sure it's sizerelated as i had no sense of style when i was a 12-14 either.

misdee · 09/04/2007 16:24

trousers i am fine with, its tops and my big boobs.

I was wondering about something like this which also comes in dark blue . The sleeves might be a bit too short for comfort, but the gathering at the bust should be OK, not too likely to make you look pg.

misdee · 09/04/2007 16:24

lol io, i loved it wheni was 14, so much more fitted me.

ScoobyDooooo · 09/04/2007 16:25

I have big norks too & hate them size DD i also have a thing about my arms since having dd i am a size 14.

Will be waiting for cod...

ScoobyDooooo · 09/04/2007 16:25

Like that top jackie but don't liek the sleeves!

misdee · 09/04/2007 16:26

that would be good if it wasnt for the short sleeves jackie.

i managed to get a couple of long length casual tops from evans, but not all of the colours were long length.

OP posts:
JackieNo · 09/04/2007 16:26

I like this a lot too. What size do you need, misdee?

misdee · 09/04/2007 16:28

thats lovely, but out of stock in my size.

OP posts:
JackieNo · 09/04/2007 16:30

Don't at that - nothing wrong with it at all.

How about this ? Scoop rather than v-neck, but still might work.

ScoobyDooooo · 09/04/2007 16:31

Misdee what length do you want? do you like the long tunic tops?

misdee · 09/04/2007 16:32

maybe. i am only 26, if that gives anyone more ideas.

am off now to get ready for the arrival of my older two girls back from hols, wil lcheck back later.

OP posts:
misdee · 09/04/2007 16:32

yes longer is preferred scooby.

OP posts:
ScoobyDooooo · 09/04/2007 16:35

how about this

loads of styles on here

You can also wear like the pinafore style tops with a t-shirt top underneath to deal with the arm thing?

bran · 09/04/2007 16:37

What about something like this from La Redoute?

JackieNo · 09/04/2007 16:39

OK, maybe not for high summer but quite nice?
