Look at my New shoes

I am so sad, I am actually excited about a pair of new shoes I bought today...

they are the prettiest shoes I have every owned - 5th pair down, hazel, brown/bronze

Going to a wedding tomorrow, so needed some proper ones.

And they were only £18.00 (reduced from £35)

On the down side, never knew I had wide feet!

Oh, and I also bought these..

not pretty but damn comfy

just a shame that I have never found a pair out there as pretty and 1st pair and comfy as 2nd pair...

Heifer those shoes are gorgeous. Were they comfy or did they cripple your toes after 2 hours?

chillgirl · 01/05/2007 10:09

heifer · 01/05/2007 10:36

They crippled my toes after 10 hrs!... I could hardly walk...

I think they would have been fine on people who are used to wearing proper shoes... I spend far to much time in trainers and flaties, so 10 hrs in then was too much for me..

I would definately recommend them, as they look soo nice...

heifer · 01/05/2007 11:15

true, true TMP, but at least they won't melt if it gets too hot... and I least they don't come in silly colours....

AND they don't give me blisters.....

OP posts:
themaskedposter · 01/05/2007 11:17

ahhh yes

all valid points!

ah well - was worth a try though

how are you today?

friendlyedjit · 01/05/2007 11:18

i'd like htese pretty shoes- even if it were just to take them out of the box every so often and look at them- or have a little force feet into discomfort and prance about for few mins!!

heifer · 01/05/2007 11:21

the pretty ones are comfy - it was just that I wore them for about 10 hours the very first time... and not used to wearing proper shoes...

They do look nice in the box though...

TMP not bad, managed to upset someone a bit, so feel a bit silly about that...(mn thread)...

OP posts:
themaskedposter · 01/05/2007 11:25

AYE???!?!?!?!?

how on earth did you upset someone?

impossible - IMHO

heifer · 01/05/2007 11:28

sorted now, she said sorry, I said sorry, feel a bit silly....

was with daisymoo so must have been a cow moment....

themaskedposter · 01/05/2007 11:29

Glad it is sorted

heifer · 01/05/2007 11:31

any ideas for a picnic that we are having in about an hour?

ex work colleague coming round, and DD wants a picnic in the garden?

Friend is game for a laugh so won't mind childrens food (I hope)

Was going to make some ham&cheese&salad sandwiches, got sausages, crisps (which is the real reason DD wants a picnic)...

Anything else?
