I am so sad, I am actually excited about a pair of new shoes I bought today...

they are the prettiest shoes I have every owned - 5th pair down, hazel, brown/bronze

Going to a wedding tomorrow, so needed some proper ones.

And they were only £18.00 (reduced from £35)

On the down side, never knew I had wide feet!

Oh, and I also bought these..

not pretty but damn comfy

just a shame that I have never found a pair out there as pretty and 1st pair and comfy as 2nd pair...

lots of fruit cut up in home-made fruit salad stylee ...

cheese and apple bits

ham and cheese (or tuna and cheese) toasted sandwiches

pitas with chicken and salad etc

and yes, agree with hard boiled eggs- a deffo.

and if you have time (and have them at the ready) chicken drumsticks rubbed in oil and then sprinkled with a 'paprika, garlic salt, curry powder, castor sugar and flour' combo and then oven cooked for abut 30 mins-- FABULOUS hot or cold!

((well you did ask!))

sounds lovely btw - we do LOVE a picnic in the TMP household

The funny thing is that DD and I have a picnic almost every lunchtime, but as someone grownup is coming round, I just couldn't think what to do....
