They're pricey enough and online and I know there's free shipping and returns but the hassle of sending them back....

They all just look incredibly uncomfortable.

I’m sure you’re all bursting to know how my boot purchase went.
I’m back to update!

The first choice, the classic mumboot are actually very nice indeed. V well made, zip and button at the back a nice detail, and contrary to popular opinion, the square-ish toe looks surprisingly modern.

The Office boots were just too uncomfortable for me. Office shoes just don’t suit me.

Moving on to the &other stories boots. Lovely dark black, ordinary but comfy, good height on my leg. But suede. So they’re a commitment.

And then we have the massimo dutti boots as an afterthought. They are lovely. Phenomenally comfortable. I loved them. But they are not a good leg-height on me. They make my calves look bigger than they are. Sob. If you are slim-of-calf, they are lovely. Someone please buy them!

There you have it. I know, you’re all relieved and somewhat delighted the suspense is over.
Despite the commitment, the & other stories are definite keepers. And I’m ruminating on the others.
