I feel that MN has an opinion on Hotter shoes but I can't remember what it is

I bought some shoes earlier this year that MN said were for primary school teachers, so I don't mind that. :o

Just wanted to check if there was some common knowledge on quality/fit/etc

I tend to think Hotter is for comfort rather than style. The boots in the OP aren't awful in my opinion but I also wouldn't notice someone wearing them and think they are lovely. They're just average. And there's nothing wrong with that if that's what you want!

I don't like Fly boots. I think most are chunky and ugly.

They look nice - I'd go for the darker redder colour.

I actually think fly boots look weird , I don't like the shape of them but I know they are super popular . My favourite boots of that shape are my ugg noira ( nothing like the classics ) but i prefer ankle boots now . We are all different though .. at the end of the day if you like something then buy it and wear it . No one really cares what you have on your feet 🤷‍♀️

I'm 61 and will not wear them, far too frumpy for me. I like Dune for comfy boots and shoes, Ted and Muffy for heels ( aka Duo) and Geox for trainers. Ecco are a "frumpy " brand that does the odd stylish item. Moshulu can be interesting, though the shop locally is mainly frequented by the over 80's.
