I need a nice full / A line skirt with a lovely bold print, pref. not a white background

What are my hopes of finding one when the shops are full of swirly smocks?

I need something I can wear with a black / brown top, so not pale colours

I didn't like mine either F&Z - I sent it back today. The medium was massive (and I'm at the lardy end of my fluctuating weight spectrum atm), it was too short (on the knee my lardy @rse), it was too flarey and I didn't like the lime green kick pleats.

Principles and Monsoon have loads of skirts with bold prints and many not on white background, if that helps. Great Plains also a good place to shop for skirts (catalogue and on line better than in the shops)...

So disappointed was I that I have (oops) just ordered a dress instead (from Joules who I had never heard of before but they sent me a catalogue - kind of wannabe Boden). Tis here Out of stock atm but due in later this month.

generally yes, just avoid anything too horsey or with a big number / logo on

unless you actually play polo, that is
