I need a nice full / A line skirt with a lovely bold print, pref. not a white background

What are my hopes of finding one when the shops are full of swirly smocks?

Maximum budget £40

mid length not long or mini

I need something I can wear with a black / brown top, so not pale colours

please find me something beautiful

I ordered the turquoise one (plus a kaftan thingy) and they haven't arrived yet. In fact I haven't even received any sort of confirmation e-mail which is slightly worrying...

I did mine by phone and they said it would arrive tomorrow

can't remember which of the two companies I ordered it from now so will be fun chasing it up if it doesn't arrive

i think i am in love with the brown skirt its gorgeous.

i have loads of pink tops that would go with it. i am the queen of little pink tops.

have now got the enlaged image of the brown one on screen from the tansen web site as 'inspiration'

whispers, if i order it tonight, whats the chances of having it before saturday?, we go on holiday to cornwall at the weekend

i ordered the brown jersey top from tansen after this thread & it arrived on saturday. fabulous. but i can't wear it with the blue skirt...

i am designing and making a rag doll for a book on making stuff for kids and also writing a 'how to stitch cross stitch' section.

gonna have to get more work now....

need bigger skirt budget

You could remove a small section to make part of the rag doll perhaps? - that so reminds me of being at work and the day i accidentally stitched my skirt to an embroidery and stuck a bead to my head with superglue (i did have a reputation to being a bit accident prone )

should have known those skirts would have had something to do with fio, she's a bit textiley too

I am weeping with frustration, i have no money and I want EVERYTHING on this site (except the polka dots). but especially on of those skirts...

It is here

They only sent the purpley brown one

It is huge and falling off the hips-ish

it is way too short

it has horrid lime green panels in the flared sections

I am bereft of skirtitude

and I paid for 1st class deliv and only got it today
