Can I go grey? (Pics)

Feeling lacklustre. Think it's my hair, aside from the ageing, (55). I'm posting "good" pics only. Tend to wear makeup daily, even if just blush as I have shocking circulation and look like death warmed up.

I've only just read your update. Flowers

You're hair is lovely as it is but if you need a change or something else to focus on then go for it.

marinathehummingbird · 30/07/2017 10:56

You're absolutely beautiful, OP

The dog is too

Want2beme · 30/07/2017 11:17

Margot your hair is gorgeous, very striking.

PollyPerky · 30/07/2017 12:08

I'm so sorry to hear about your son :(
I understand why you are focusing at bit on the 'trivia'.
But really, you are beautiful and your hair is great. I agree with your hairdresser- warm it up a bit. It's lovely and thick and you have lots of it.
If that's where you live too, it looks lovely! ( care to share?)

Suki you are gorgeous! Teally stunning. The bob you posted up thread would look fab on you. i think the grey would look lovely on you too.

Sorry to hear about your son and I think tinkering about with hair etc is a good light distraction from it.

Oh Suki Flowers

I'm also 55 and went what I think of as platinum blonde about 4 months ago. I was a mousy highlighty mess before, it was all a bit too "tasteful caramel highlights" for me.

I do use violet shampoo etc. You have to wear latex gloves when using it as you get purple cuticles.

SukiTheDog · 30/07/2017 18:57

Tiger there's no way I'm faffing with gloves and stuff [Grin]. Ain't gonna happen. I don't even use a hairdryer!

You're very beautiful I love your hair as it is - classy and natural looking.

KnitFastDieWarm · 30/07/2017 19:38

You have beautiful skin and great bone structure so you could do basically anything to your hair and you'd look great. I have a similar complexion at 30 (and look younger as well) so I hope I age as well as you! More importantly you look sparkly and happy Grin
My mum is 61 and has mousey hair with a lot of light grey, and she wears it a bright, Debbie harry blonde, so the greys act as highlights. That's what I'm going to go for when mine goes mostly grey!
