I'd love recommendations for a non streaky, non orange, non biscuity gradual tanner please. Smile I'm hopeless at putting on fake tan and I'm not keen on the smell but my legs are so very white! Looking forward to mumsnetters wisdom. SmileFlowers

Bondi not when washed off / and dust your self down in talc once you've applied it - takes away the smell 😀

Avon skin so soft gradual tan spray.

I am so pale I look blue and this is brilliant. Really natural looking colour, no streaks and no biscuits. I'm currently buying 2 or 3 bottles at a time so I have supplies all year.

It's inexpensive too.

"If you use gradual tanner / fake tan do you not use suncream? If you do use suncream when do you out it on?"

You absolutely have to use sunscreen with both fake/gradual tans and instant tans. Nothing offers sun protection except for sunscreen.

Another vote for Bondi Sands light from Superdrug. I've tried loads and hate the smell. This one doesn't smell bad and creates a non-streak tan.

Looks like I will have to some bondi sands as well! I will report back. Grin

keepon in your case I would apply it after swimming.
So say you go out in the morning, swim, come back in the afternoon, shower - that's your moment. Then you can start on the wine.
If you apply it in the morning then go swimming it won't work.
Also - and I always give this advice - go for the medium/dark shade, not the light/medium. It just takes too long to start getting results otherwise

Bondi recommends putting it on and then showering after 6 hours. I've done it overnight with good effect. It is brown as it goes on, which makes it easy to apply. Don't worry if it seems darker in some areas. Once showered it leaves an even tan. I apply with a dry mitt - foam onto the mit, then spread. No oil or moisturiser on skin.
