MamaG · 22/03/2007 13:50

[snigger]at cod linking to jesus-sandals/birkie-rip-offs

I do like hte wood edge though. I love high wedges.

Re toe posts

Cod bullied me into buying some expensive ones last year, said that I was only uncomfortable in toe posts 'cos I bought cheap ones (cheeky cow)

Beetrootccio · 22/03/2007 15:58

go to accessories and then the shoe is in hte bottom left hand corner

bundle · 22/03/2007 16:14

I'm 41 (for a few more days) and I wear Converse-lookeelikees (M&S) - sequinned ones, with skirts (and opaque tights) or trousers

happystory-I've just bought a pair of Converse and I'm forty.
Was a bit worried that I would look like I was trying too hard.
However think they look great.
Brighton is full of us old uns trying hard to hold on to our youth

Beetrootccio · 22/03/2007 16:56

but don't youthinkthe shoes I suggesrted in last link are perfect?

MamaG · 22/03/2007 17:19

ooh beetroot those sandals are lush - I take it you mean the ones with square strap (for want of a better explanation)

I really like them - I have long thin toes, like fingers, adn they would disguise that a bit

MamaG · 22/03/2007 17:20

but how the HECK do you buy em

Beetrootccio · 22/03/2007 18:19

yes - I have a phone number 020793593293

I reallly love them and may buy them!!!

OP posts:
Tutter · 22/03/2007 20:10

NotQuiteCockney · 22/03/2007 20:12

Bundle, do the faux-converses have arch support? I like how converse shoes look, but they have no arch support, so I don't buy them ...

CODalmighty · 22/03/2007 20:12

CODalmighty · 22/03/2007 20:14

yes like em but prefer flip flops

OP posts:
NotQuiteCockney · 22/03/2007 20:15

How does one 'look sporty'? I thought wearing trainers did the trick ...

Oh, wait. Do you have big big hair? And long nails? I guess that would do it ...

jeangenie · 22/03/2007 20:15

NQC - you need some birkenstock sole inserty things (just remembered what they are called - insoles!) for your converse (not quite or otherwise). I can't wear them without, but with they are a joy and a pleasure to the foot

CODalmighty · 22/03/2007 20:15
