Yep I tried on the 14 in the pink (bitter HA!) and it was quite roomy, if it hadn't been hideous colours on me I would have gone for the 12. You could always turn it up a bit if you want it shorter. There's a fantastic lady in the next village to mine (no help to you I know) who is a whizz at sewing, she hemmed up a trouser leg, repaired a rip in a skirt and altered a skirt that was too flary for me and charged me.......

I like that stripey Cotton Traders one Mrs Badger. I have (ahem) 'deep natural auburn' hair - does anyone think coral would work for me or does it have to be khaki?

hard to tell - depends entirely how pink the 'coral' is - if it's on the orange side you may get away with it, if pinker, less likely.
