fishie · 20/03/2007 14:33

right i am sending for those trousers. a generous size 14 sounds right up my fatly tum alley and a 16 is always too baggy in the legs.

i have also been to shops and bought this
not so frumpy in rl

and this in berry it will be my new swimming bag.

and some pink stripy pants for dp hahahaaaaaa.

MrsBadger · 20/03/2007 14:46

OP posts:
fishie · 20/03/2007 14:59

mrs b it was a jolly good try - i have been havering about this dress for ages no 12 page 2 but black is not so summery eh? i fear might also do the pouchy thing.

NuttyMuffins · 20/03/2007 16:45

I've brought a skirt

It's from Primark, like a greeny blue colour and is kneeish length with a thin belt round the top. I was very very good cos I wanted to buy black but managed to force myself to buy the nice bright one .

fishie · 20/03/2007 17:19

greeny blue sounds nice. i tred to go in primark last week but was beaten back by forces of toddlerdom.

MrsBadger · 20/03/2007 17:20

hah - I tried Primark last week but was beaten back by acres of what appeared to be 1970s maternitywear

I may be pregnant but I don't want to look like my mother did when she was

OP posts:
NuttyMuffins · 20/03/2007 17:23

ROFL Mrsbadger, I said that exact thing to my mum who was with me today. She refused to admit that she dressed like that when pregnant but I have seen the pics.

MrsBadger · 20/03/2007 17:26

We had a 'guess the baby photo' competition at work last year and I couldn't use any of the ones with my mum in as she looked (disturbingly) just like I do now.
I blame those scarfy hairband things

CODalmighty · 20/03/2007 17:27

Ooh! Might nip into fatface tomorrow and try on the pink one and if it's any good bid on ebay - thanks nutty.

JoPG · 20/03/2007 22:14

Let us know how you get on at Fat Face.

danceswithaSPRINGinherstep · 21/03/2007 08:30

Will do! (if can bear to take my clothes off again...it's so fricking cold here this morning )

danceswithaSPRINGinherstep · 21/03/2007 15:32

what can I tell you. The fat face dress is not at all pink like it looks on the website but is in fact a revolting orange/peachy combination which looks foul on me. Shame because it was a nice shape.

MrsBadger · 21/03/2007 16:35

ooh
orange!
I can do orange!

[gets on ebay]

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 21/03/2007 16:37

dances, if the flowery one was better ebay has that one too

DANCESwithaTruckLoadOfMiniEggs · 21/03/2007 18:27

I didn't like it for me as that green also doesn't suit me (brighter, appley/limey - not flourescent - greens do) Also won't do if you have large norks as the bits they go in were quite small and nothing worse than that seam across middle of nork when it should be underneath!
