Please help me, oh style gurus.
I am going to a party on sat night.
I never go to parties - eek. It's a 30th birthday but they are all young 30s IYKWIM - hardly a mum among them. What shall I wear?

I'm thinking dark jeans, heels and a nice top - but which top? And which heels?

Any alternatives to jeans?
TIA

doggiesayswoof · 16/03/2007 16:52

My mum's biggest no-no is black and navy. Not a problem as I don't think I would ever wear navy anyway

farm holiday - hoping to do a bit of pony trekking and messing about on the farm - don't like that "er" is it rubbish?!

Love the orange t-bars! The lime wedges lovely too - they wouldn't stay on my feet though, I'm hopeless in shoes without a strap!

nailpolish · 16/03/2007 16:59

no its fine only kidding

gorgeous hills to walk in and there are nice stables

youll have fun

I ended up wearing this with some skinny jeans from Dorothy Perkins. Tried on the lime shoes but made my feet look an odd shape, so just wore a dressy pair of black wedges I already had.

Also some big silver hoop earrings and a long pendant.

The party was great fun and I was v chuffed with the outfit! thanks for all help on Friday.
