Favourite Mac Lipcolour

Which is yours? Mine varies between Creme In Your Coffee and Ruby Woo depending on my mood. Good days I'm a Ruby Woo, not so good I'm a Creme In Your Coffee.

Am I the only one in the universe who doesn't suit Velvet Teddy? It looks awful (a really flat brown) on me.
However, not the question.

Creme in your coffee for every day. Swap to Modesty in the summer. Russian Red for glam.
Just bought Twig. Still wondering if it's a bit pink. I like a bit of mauve in the mix.
Had forgotten about Capricious. My first Mac lipstick. So, off to do a bit of googling.

I love their lipsticks, the creme sheen ones are such a lovely texture and really great colour intensity

I've just bought a new one Retro Matt Relentlessly Red, it's a bright coral pinky red. I love it, I was tempted by All Fired Up which is also a Retro Matt and it's a darker pinky red! I almost bought both but I realize this is greedy and I shouldn't have even bought one! (25% off though as it was in promotion!)

Oh, my colouring is pale, usually pale ivory or porcelain I have very dark brown hair which I dye with either a violet/aubergine shade or at the moment a dark bright red. I have hazel eyes (brown on the outside, green in the middle) and I have thousands of dark brown freckles. I blush in a bright pink shade! 😂

Buster, that's one of my favourite colours ever. The formula is a bit, um, challenging shall we say, but I hope you get on better with it than I do!

No I haven't, like you I talked myself out of it as it's too close in colour to RR! I find that RR is fine for a few hours, just gets hellishly dry if you wear it all day

I've had Ruby Woo in the past and I've got a Retro Matt one, Steady Going, it's the colour I love so I'm prepared to add a small touch of balm underneath, I never usually do that but the colour is so stunning. I've heard it's a similar to Marc Jacobs Core Cora but at £30 I couldn't possibly buy another one!

Chili.

It's the only perfect shade of red for me. Tried a million others but always find they have a pink or purple undertone that does not suit my pale, red haired self. Chili has a nice orange red undertone and I love it. I've binned all my other reds as there is no need for them now.

Can anyone recommend a brownish shade from Mac that is a bit 90's and would suit a pale red head that is a bit goth/alternative looking please?
Thinking more on the dark side but not purple toned.

I know Lotta they might be a bit cheaper in the uk (I'm in the Middle East) but I love the Marc Jacobs lipsticks. I have 5! 2 were a gift from a great friend and the others I've collected over 2 years! They are slightly Matt and are full of pigment, the packaging is beautiful, so so stunning! I feel a bit spoilt to have so many but they are my favorites, better than any other brand!

Thanks FauxPasadena, it's a nice shade but think it might be a little too purpley for me. I'm sure it would look great to start off with but turn quite purple as it wears off through the day.
I will have a look at it next time I'm in Mac to see what it looks like in person.
