Mutton as lamb?

I'm 47. I'm going out tomorrow evening - context - art exhibition, quite smart/casual which I always have issues with.

Any advice? It doesn't feel quite right and I don't know why. Maybe too young?

So would lots of people feel jealous and perhaps thats why there are negative comments, you look amazing and the outfit shows off your figure without it being too revealing. Im willing to bet anyone who says you don't look great is a teeny bit envious!

Goodness - thank you, but that really isn't how it is or how I feel!! I have lots of hang ups like anyone else, or I wouldn't feel the need to ask for advice. I'm worried about looking ridiculous, as a poster said on another thread (and I thought she looked great).

I'm afraid my ankles being thin just makes my hips look wider ....

I prefer plan B look, splash of the pink has made a big difference (plus it's an outfit I would wear, do like my cardis and I'm in my forties) . Enjoy your evening out Grin

Thank you booby, general consensus is plan B so that's what I'm going with. I just need to get my black jeans dry!
