NYX make-up - does anyone us this?

Was browsing in Boots today and liked the look of a lot of the products but some the reviews on the Boots website are a bit negative. Any reccommendations?

Tazer the milk crayons fab for an eyeshadow primer/base, your posts reads as using it for your face?

Liquid Suede creme lipstick, at £7 a pop, is an absolute steal. I bought a bright red and a pinky plum one. No bleeding (at my age, an essential) or fading. Last all day on me, with maybe a minor touch up. Better than the Chanel and Dior ones I've got. Definitely give Mac lipsticks, which I also use, a run for their money.

the best thing ever is the brow pomade for blondes and the angled brush you can buy separately.

i have one of their nude matte lipsticks however find it very chalky and drying on me.

interesting to hear what everyone else recommends as I'd like to try more things out.

Botanic their eyeshadows are amazing, very pigmented with little fall out

I use their eye shadows; find their eye shadows and MakeUp Revolution eye shadows infinitely better than urban decays (actually regretted everything I've purchased from urban decay, but that's another thread).

I love NYXs undereye dark circle Concealer, and pairing the eyeshadow primer and vivid eye shadow base - I have very oily lids! I also use the NYX Lash Proof It, which keeps my mascara on - it's cheaper than the Clarins Double Fix and just as good.

I don't get on well with the lip glosses / lip sticks but that's a given with me. I'm yet to find my 'holy grail' lipstick or foundation

Queen I've found the best foundation to be No7 Beautifully Matte, really good coverage but not Caley like Estée Lauder Double wear

The Soft Matte Lip Creams are excellent long-wearing non-drying matte lipsticks, the setting sprays are good too!

SheSaid thanks for that info, good to know. I love a good eyeshadow and need to ditch the older ones in my cosmetics bag(any excuse!)

I use their cream blush. It's really easy to blend and lasts all day.

The khol eye pencils are very good.
I always repeat but them.
Very long lasting

Nah I meant eyeshadow primer SheSaid! I've got quite oily and creasey eyelids and it just does nothing for me. UD eyeshadow primer is the only thing that works for me really, luckily it lasts a long time!

Alot of nyx lipsticks are dupes of mac colours and they are not bad quality for a quarter of the price!

Like Tazerface I wanted to love the Milk chunky pencil, but it slides off me too. I bought the Milk, Black and another one on 3 for 2 but obviously my eyes are just too greasy.

My daughter loves the Liquid Suede lipstick. It's stays put all day.

I got the dewy setting spray and it's as good as Urban Decays All Nighter.

Tazer probably my wine brain reading it wrong last night!

I love the liquid lipsticks, but I do apply them with a brush, as I find they to go on a bit thick just using the applicator.

I'm using No7 Instant Radiance at the moment (abandoned ELDW for it), but it slips off my nose. I use No7 Airbrush primer and NYX powder, but still struggle. I'm waiting for a delivery of The Ordinary foundations and primers...

The Soft Matte Lip Creams are some of my favourite liquid lipsticks. Better than a lot of higher end brands.

I also love the Micro Brow Pencil. Great shade range and I prefer the texture to the much revered Anastasia Brow Wiz.
