NYX make-up - does anyone us this?

Was browsing in Boots today and liked the look of a lot of the products but some the reviews on the Boots website are a bit negative. Any reccommendations?

Love their liquid lipsticks and setting spray

I use their illuminating powder on my cheekbones. On Maternity leave and can no longer afford my usual Hourglass one so hot this as a cheapie alternative. It's fine and does the job

I have their HD powder in banana, their matte bronzer & some butter glosses.
Really pleased with all 3!

It's this one in enigmatic. For some reason it's described as an illuminating bronzer but it's really not a bronzer and you certainly wouldn't put it all over your face.

I have a few of the £4 lipsticks & really like them.

I bought the mineral stick foundation today just for my handbag for touch ups, was told it was similar to the bobby brown stick. Haven't tried it yet. My dd bought some lipsticks and I've just tried one on, it's a gel and quite nice but doesn't last. She likes the products. I was a bit overwhelmed by the stand as there is so much choice but it wasn't as busy as mac which is a good thing.

My DD uses it and says its good. I think its quite affordable too.

Oh and my youngest was with us too and she had a great time with a blue eyeliner. Think Michael Stipe. The girls on the stand where lovely and provided wipes.

I like the micro brow pencils and the butter glosses.

I bought the under-eye concealer after a rec on here. I don't like it much though,

Dd bought me the eyebrow stuff for Mother's Day and it's fab.

I love the eyebrow mascara, and the dewy setting spray.

Yes Remus I pinched dds concealer and I found it powdery when it sets.

Matte Velvet lipstick is brilliant . My fave shade is Honeymoon - a matte twilight teaser.

I like the baked blush and the butter lip gloss. Very cheap!

I am partial to their glittery eyeshadows

Ah Fluffy you must be under 40. It was a very very popular lipstick shade in the eighties. I'd love to know how the mineral stick foundation is.

I love their liquid eyeliners, and I have a gold pencil one too which is so soft. The eyeshadow is very pigmented.

I tried them because Safiya Nygaard on YouTube is a big fan of NYX. And it's cheap compared to Urban Decay etc

I'm nearly 40 so I should've known that but I was more of a heather shimmer girl

The products are good - DD often buys something if she's after a new colour to try out before she invests my money in her beloved Urban Decay or KatVonD.

She got into very dark burgandy /plum lipsticks and bought the liner and lipgloss from Nyx to try out before she bought more ££ brands,

She still uses the Nyx lipliners (nude and wine)

I have LipLingerie , the micr brow pencil, a couple of the eye pencils.
Good value and no animal testing. What's not to love .
Oh yes, the hoards of teenage girls that I need to elbow my way through

I've got a few of their lipsticks, extreme glosses and ombré blushers. For the price, I think they're really good.

The only thing I don't like is the chunky eye pencil I bought in Milk - it's supposed to be good as a primer but it doesn't do anything for me.
