Ok, in my ongoing quest for a funky summer shirt/blouse type affair, I would like your opinions on this one:

www.rixo.co.uk/product/amber/

In case anyone read my last thread about the Tabitha Webb rainbow shirt, I did order that one, but wondering if I like this one better, so thinking of ordering it as well, and sending one back. This is the TW one:

What say you MNetters as both very different?

Really cathy?? Maybe I need to look at it again when I'm not feeling tired and grumpy (and half a bottle of wine down!)

OH said he thinks it looks 'big and flappy' on me..I don't think so, but maybe he's more used to me wearing fitted stuff.

It does look great on you!

DavetheCat2001 · 04/04/2017 21:44

Thank you

I like it too. A lot.

DavetheCat2001 · 04/04/2017 23:07

Thanks.

So maybe a keeper after all..?

I have 14 days to return.

Any other opinions?

I really love it on you.

And if they were that crap at getting it to you, they'll probably be a total pita at issuing refund etc so you might as well save yourself the potential hassle and just keep it Grin.

DavetheCat2001 · 05/04/2017 13:35

haha like your style Rickety Grin

I think the hassle I had, coupled with OH's reaction put me off it.

Having said that, tried it on this morning with some black skinnies and leather look skinnies and I think I like it.

Thanks for your input. I always listen to the MNetters on the S&B boards Smile

Does anyone think I look like a children's TV presenter/Timmy Mallet/Mr Tumble/Geoffrey from Rainbow?

OP posts:
IHaveBrilloHair · 05/04/2017 17:02

I love it, I just can't justify the price for me.
If it was cheaper I'd buy it in a flash

DavetheCat2001 · 05/04/2017 18:04

Thanks Brillo. That's my issue with it really. If it was 50 quid-ish I'd have no issue, but as it is a 'luxury' buy, I'm just feeling a bit guilty about the expense (we aren't well off by any means).

I think though that I am leaning towards keeping it. I'm out tomorrow night (for the first time in ages!) with some girlfriends for drinks and dinner so tempted to wear it then. Obviously once worn it is to be kept, so need to decide asap.

FlopsDealer · 05/04/2017 18:09

I love it. Would order it myself if a) I could afford it and b) my tits weren't so enormous.

DavetheCat2001 · 05/04/2017 18:26

Ha, I'm definitely not endowed in the chest department!

Ok, so I think I'm going to keep it. Just a few people said when I originally posted the shirt up, that it looked a bit cheap and garish.

Thanks for all your opinions. I feel a bit better about it now Smile

Bit late to the party on this thread but I bloody love it.

DavetheCat2001 · 05/04/2017 19:09

Thanks Koala

I shall keep and wear with pride tomorrow night...Hurrah!

I like it too. I wasn't keen when you posted the original link but it looks much better on.

Jaagojaago · 05/04/2017 20:11

As someone who's just bought 6 tops off eBay for £28 total I suppose I'll get me coat and be off! Grin

They were Zara monsoon and Debenhams to be fair :)

DavetheCat2001 · 05/04/2017 20:26

I buy loads of stuff from eBay. I bought 3 Ted Baker tops last summer for a total of about £30! You get some great stuff on there.

Spending this much on an item of clothing for me is quite rare. I think the last pricey thing I bought was a pair of Paige jeans that were ££ but really love them. Worth the money.
