The comfiest flat black ankle boots ever?

Right, I'm not convinced these shoes I'm dreaming of exist as I've had no luck finding them myself but I'm turning to you lot for help looking please. Comfort is absolute top priority but I'm quite picky about style too and not exactly rich so budget is not massive.

I have one of those jobs where I have to be on my feet all day running about, lifting shit and whatnot but I also like to look alright as I'm customer facing (and vain). I have to wear all black and need the comfiest shoes possible for obvious reasons. At the moment I wear trainers but I would like another option, ideally I would like some super comfy flat ankle boots that are equally (or more) comfy than my Nike Airs. Do these exist? If they do please tell me where!

Many, many thanks in advance Smile

No! Your bubble should stay completely intact! They are fine, just not for quite my style (I'm picky I know) Smile

Grin OP.
Not to worry, I don't like half the boots on this thread, having big feet means I can't go too chunky, ie fly boots. I would look like I'm wearing black shoe boxes on my feet!
The same with Uggs.
The struggle is immense. Smile

Hahaha, well good luck with those Hotter ones then, I think they look perfectly comfortable and definitely un- shoe box like .

I bought these in my search for comfy boots for work (lecturer) and I love them. I'm not a fan of the ruche or buckles but they are so comfy.

I've worn Ethics all black skate trainers for years so feel I'm marginally smarter now and still comfy.

Why am I so anti-buckle?! I can't even rationalise it, I know I wouldn't think anything negative if I saw buckly boots on stranger feet but I just don't want them on my own. It's weird.

Dr Marten's Charla are so comfy. I walk hours in them a day. My feet, unlike every other cell in my body, do not feel knackered. However, I have not tried Nike Airs.

The weight puts me off DMs although I do like the look of 'em. I want that springy, light footed feeling which I'm willing to concede may well just be a trainer thing, after all that is exactly what trainers are designed for!

Have you tried Clarks Orinoco boots? I wear them all the time and find them very comfortable. I have added sheepskin liners but that's because I always have cold feet rather than for extra comfort.

I know what you mean about the lightness of trainers OP. I wear my converse, or my light as a feather Nike juvenates to work, most days, so I can bounce up and down the stairs, and around the playground like a teenager.
When I wear boots now, I feel slower and my feet feel heavier. When you wear trainers regularly, you just can't tolerate heavy, uncomfortable footwear at all.
