this

i even momentarily considered calling the agents to ask the owners, but then realised they'd soon tell me where to get off

i know i could buy material and make somthing but i am useless in such things and am hoping someone may know of a wonderful bedding retailer...

oh, and while you're all looking for bedding, keep your eyes peeled for a 2'6" corner pleat valance for my evilly-sized spare bed.

itsmeNDaveP · 26/02/2007 14:05

good luck to 'em !

itsmeNDaveP · 26/02/2007 14:05

by corner pleat, do you mean box pleat, Mrs B ?

MrsBadger · 26/02/2007 14:05

anything so long as it's not ruffled!

Tutter · 26/02/2007 14:06

tis madness i know

but it's a world where everything is huge - salaries, mortgages alike - so to most peopel it'snormal

don't necessarily have any more disposable £££ than anyone else, mind

Have you checked Habitat???

We saw some bed linen on Footballers wives whihc really would have gone with our duck egg blue room - and it was in Habitat - bloody expensive but now I sleep like Tanya Turner!!!

Tutter · 26/02/2007 14:08

have just looked twinkie - plain ones only

It's a bedspread/throw isn't it? Looks a bit Designers Guild.
Buy the house and ask if they'll throw it in?

Twiglett · 26/02/2007 14:09

that's really nice duvet cover .. I think I've seen similar in John Lewis but it won't be online

Twiglett · 26/02/2007 14:11

not as nice

Tutter · 26/02/2007 14:12

seen that before twig

foxy's right - tis a bedspread

looks great with white sheets and pillows

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 26/02/2007 14:12

couldn't see it in Marks, Next, JL, Bedeck, Habitat, Designer's Guild or Heals

will keep going

Tutter · 26/02/2007 14:14

mrsbee you are a veritable star

it looks as though it would be wonderfully heavy and lineny

OP posts:
bran · 26/02/2007 14:20

That's a bedspread on the bed (rather than a duvet cover) so it's possible that they bought the fabric and had it made up.

Twiglett · 26/02/2007 14:21

its not the same in the right space with the right other bedding bet this could be just as nice

NadineBaggott · 26/02/2007 14:22

it might be 2 mill but its sterile, don't you think?

JackieNo · 26/02/2007 14:23

OK - couldn't keep away. I don't think this is it, as it's pink, but it looks similar ? Also nice in option 3, the kind of pale green?

NadineBaggott · 26/02/2007 14:23

Tutter I'd ring and ask, they can only say 'bog off' but I bet they don't

JackieNo · 26/02/2007 14:24

Or some actual black bedlinen ?

ScottishThistle · 26/02/2007 14:26

Designers Guild have some fabulous bedding & failing that they also have 100's of fab material!
