Inspired by the top 5 beauty products thread, would love to know what others wear daily. Was in HofF beauty hall yesterday and was fascinated by all the sales assistants with perfect makeup. Love anything beauty related! Daily I wear -

No 7 Stay Perfect Superlight foundation
Mac studio finish concealer
Rimmel stay matte powder
Nars Mata Hari blusher
Eyeliner on top waterline (one of the many I got with glossybox)
Clinique naturally glossy mascara
Maybelline Eyebrow gel
Maybelline babylips lip balm.

Takes well under 10 mins.

I take about 10 min to do a low key "natural"look, but 5 of that is just evening out my rosacea-flushed skin tone!

Justfred · 01/01/2017 22:06

Foundation, concealer, powder, blusher, brow pencil/gel, eyeliner or eyeshadow or both, mascara and something quick on lips; a stain or neutral lipstick. Takes about 7 mins. I have to have my hair up, no nail varnish and ugly uniform for work so I like to put a bit of effort in where I can!

RunRabbitRunRabbit · 01/01/2017 22:06

What type of skin do you have?

I've got middle-aged pale skin with very pale eyelashes and eyebrows if left natural. My makeup take 10 minutes.

Eyebrows and lashes dyed about once a month.
Clarins beauty flash balm primer
Dior nude skin glow foundation
Dior nude air light diffusing loose powder
Dior blush
No 7 felt tip eyeliner
Urban Decay Naked Basics & Naked 2 eye palettes
Maybelline volume mascara
Rimmel lipstick
Various highlighter powders.

HickDead · 01/01/2017 22:11

Runrabbit I'm late thirties with good clear skin, quite pale, would be Mac NC20.

About 2 minutes
Maybeline eraser thingy
Superdrug bb cream
Rimmel brown/black waterproof mascara
Revlon lip butter candy apple or just lip balm

gluteustothemaximus · 01/01/2017 22:16

Inika foundation
Inika loose powder
Clinique blusher
Clinique eye shadow
Inika eyeliner
Clinique mascara
Clinique chubby stick lipstick

Under ten minutes 😀

Tanfastic · 01/01/2017 22:31

Age 43 - uneven skin tone - about ten mins.
Max factor foundation
No17 brow palette
Urban decay naked eye palette
Dark brown eyeliner
Maybelline mascara
Bourjois blush pot
Lipstick of some description.

oldlaundbooth · 01/01/2017 22:33

Rimmel foundation.
Cover girl or Rimmel powder.
Maybelline mascara.
Rimmel eye-liner.

Every day since I was 13 (give or take the brand)

Mid 30's, good skin. Pale eyelashes, blonde.

Takes about 5 mins.

Wear lipbalm all the time, chapstick et.

It's fairly low budget but works. I've worked in cosmetics and tried all the big luxury brands but don't see a difference.

absolutelynotfabulous · 01/01/2017 22:38

Foundation.
Concealer in shadowy bits.
Blusher.
Lightweight powder.
Lip liner.
Lipstick.
Eye shadow (smoky eye).
Mascara.
Sometimes kohl.

All cheaper brands. Takes 5 minutes.
I do nails every day, but that takes longer.

SausageSoda · 01/01/2017 22:39

Mac Strobe Primer
Clarins under eye concealer
Chanel or Lancôme foundation
Chanel loose powder
Isadora Bronzer
Bobby Brown Blusher
NYX highlighter powder
Urban decay eyeshadow
Clinique eyeliner
Bourjois mascara

About 10 minutes to apply.

SausageSoda · 01/01/2017 22:40

Oh, and Vaseline on my eyebrows and lips

clumsyduck · 01/01/2017 22:46

5 mins tops for foundation brows and mascara sometimes bronzer

If going out anywhere more special will take a bit longer to do a more "glam" look

Rufus27 · 01/01/2017 22:47

Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation
Avon Colour Ruch lipstick (or else Rimmel Long Lasting)
Clinique airbrush Concealer
Soap and Glory bronzer
Rimmel Special Eyes eye liner.

I sometimes experiment with other products, but always come back to these staples. I think I must be only person to have tried Mac lipstick and been so disappointed!

ArieltheMermaid1720 · 01/01/2017 22:48

Foundation, concealer, bronzer (occasionally), blusher, powder, eyeshadow, liquid eyeliner, mascara and a chubby stick or lipstick. Takes me about 10 minutes or so.

ArieltheMermaid1720 · 01/01/2017 22:49

Oh and brow drama for brows.

hollinhurst84 · 01/01/2017 22:52

Etude house face blur primer
Any wand concealer!
Either a BB cream or MAC/urban decay foundation
Bourjois powder
Highlighter - becca or makeup geek
Makeup geek spellbound blush

Glamorousglitter · 01/01/2017 22:52

Doesn't take that long - after cleansing - moisturiser, eye cream etc
Primer - sometimes
Foundation (nars)
Bronzer (nars )
Blush (nars)
Eyeliner
Mascara
Eyeshadow
Lipgloss

Badaboom off I go. Wink

MadameJosephine · 01/01/2017 23:00

No 7 stay perfect super light foundation
Soap and glory super cat eyeliner
No 7 dramatic lift mascara
Lipstick (at the minute in liking the no 7 one that was free in the Christmas bauble) or tinted burts bees lipbalm

5 minutes tops

EverythingEverywhere1234 · 01/01/2017 23:07

After cleansing and moisturising;
Urban decay eyeshadow
Soap and glory supercat eyeliner
Rimmel pencil eyeliner on top waterline
Soap and glory archery brow pencil
Bare minerals Matt powder foundation
Soap and glory highlight
Lip balm
NYX soft matt lip cream

Takes about 10 minutes I'd say. If I fuck up my wings, longer. I've got lash extensions and hd brows so that saves time!

DorcasthePuffin · 01/01/2017 23:09

No7 stay perfect foundation
No7 concealer
Just a little Shiseido loose powder on my T zone
Body Shop cheek tint
Benefit eyebrow pencil
Benefit eyebrow gel
Body Shop gel eyeliner
A really cheap eyeshadow palette I got on holiday (two quid!) - an offwhite over the entire eyelid, then a darker colour in the crease
Darker eyeshadow/eye pencil to soften the eyeliner
Tinted lip balm

Takes 7 minutes - half of that is probably on the eyebrows. I've been doing the same routine for nearly 40 years, but the products have got sheerer and lighter over time. Make-up is so much better than it was when I was young, it's much easier to get a good finish in a hurry.

DorcasthePuffin · 01/01/2017 23:11

Ooh, I forgot to say mascara - that IS harder to find these days, as it's all false lash effect and very black (really ageing). I use that No7 one with argan oil in, in brown/black. It feels and looks soft and natural.

ThisIsSylviaDaisyPouncer · 01/01/2017 23:16

Primer over face
Foundation
Corrector under eyes
Concealer under eyes
Powder under eyes
Face powder
Eye brow makeup
White primer / highlighter for eyelids
Eye shadow crayon on top lids and underneath
Liquid eye liner on top lids
Kohl pencil under eye
Mascara
Lip liner
Lipstick
Blusher
Highlighter on cheekbones, lids, nose

That's just my work look (fifteen minutes), obviously if I'm going out I'd do my full face 😁

stumblymonkey · 01/01/2017 23:25

Benefit concealer
Estée Lauder powder
Mac blusher
Benefit highbrow eyebrow wax/powder
Various eyeshadow but usually Bobbi Brown in a neutral colour (cream, brown or light grey)
Lancôme black eyeliner
Benefit They're Real mascara

Takes me about 5-6 mins on the train

SesameSparkle · 02/01/2017 00:37

My basic 'natural' everyday look takes me 20 minutes! Shock Quite a bit of that time is spent evening out my bad skin/covering spots/scars with a little concealer brush. The rest goes on quickly. I use foundation, concealer, powder, blusher (which I also swipe over my eyelid creases), eyeliner, mascara and brow gel (the brows get threaded regularly and the gel defines them quickly, without needing to faff with pencil).

Judydreamsofhorses · 02/01/2017 01:37

I do:

Nars eye primer
Smash box face primer
YSL foundation
By Terry setting powder
Blusher - usually Nars, Mac or Bobbi Brown
Single pale neutral eyeshadow - Smadhbox or Urban Decay
Curl eyelashes
Mascara - Estée Lauder Doublewear or MAC False Lash
Benefit Browzings
Quick sweep of Hourglass finishing powder
Dry hair
Eat breakfast
Brush teeth
Lip liner - MAC
Red lipstick

Seven minutes, not including breakfast/hair/teeth cleaning. Longer if doing eyeliner, which is usually cat eye flicks, and I might chuck on some Becca highlighter too.
