I bet you do not look a day over 30. To younguns anyone over 25 is ancient.

bossykate · 16/02/2007 17:51

oh people are rubbish at ages - don't worry!

filthymindedvixen · 16/02/2007 17:54

OrmIrian · 16/02/2007 17:58

Don't care how old you are peachy, don't wear leggings ...please!!! I thought you looked about 30 something when I met you if that's any comfort . Anyway 44 isn't that old...... >

SaintGeorge · 16/02/2007 17:58

Oh Peachy I'm sorry. My zimmer frame post was a total timing coincidence honest. I've only just seen this thread!

I'm older than you, the zimmer was for me

PeachyClairColouredRoses · 16/02/2007 17:59

Come on- waht shuld I be wearing?

I have (this is embarassing) a pair of asda jeans (baggy) and a pair of asda cut off trousers (I wear with boots- that type) that I alternate

I need clothes- but how do I get younger, without looking like I am trying to fir in with the almost-foetal university intake????

(FWIW, size 12-14, hips noteable bust not, short hair which si blonde highighted atm)

DimpledThighs · 16/02/2007 18:05

ignore them - stupid layabout students - were probably all stoned or drunk or both.

SaintGeorge · 16/02/2007 18:08

Phew!

littlemissbossy · 16/02/2007 18:11

I sympathise Peachy I really do. I have a new work colleague who is, annoying, 22. She asked me how old I was. I told her to guess, then having caught my reflection in a glass door and realising I need to go on 10 years younger, I told her not to bother

DimpledThighs · 16/02/2007 18:20

sorry did I scare saintgeorge?

am not spoiling for a fight - was a drunk student myself way back when...

Beetrootccio · 16/02/2007 18:23

I am 44 but don't look it.

Do not dress like a teenager

Go classis.

If skinny, then

Skinny jeans, heels, and longish jumper
get your hair done
go to John Lewis nad get your make up done

DimpledThighs · 16/02/2007 18:26

worked in Harrods and saw loads - am quite thick and spent most of the time trying to remmber how I knew them and hiding incase they recognised me!

Apart from Mick Jagger - I knew who he was!

PeachyClair · 16/02/2007 18:26

Actually don't need to get make-up done- for all I rarely wear it, am a qualified make up artist LOL!!!!

Have put in a bid on a tunic top as it would suit me- no leggings though!! Will wear with jeans.

I'm sad aren't I? Worrying?

But you see- a chap chatted me up last week- said he would walk me up the hill as it was snowing and I might fall - and he was retireed!!!!!

DimpledThighs · 16/02/2007 18:26

sorry - that was aimed at a different thread (I did say I was thick though )

PeachyClair · 16/02/2007 18:27

Dt, wrong thread LOL!

NonPinkoLiberal · 16/02/2007 18:27

Wrong thread, darling

SaintGeorge · 16/02/2007 18:27

No, I just shouldn't be on style threads. I am a hippy and proud of it, my style comes into fashion once every 35 years or so.
