Can you guess ...

How old am I?
OP posts:
CanandWill · 08/11/2016 17:31

You look great op. Fab bone structure and I love your hair. People who post pictures of themselves always get a roasting on here.

whaaaaat · 08/11/2016 17:31

I would have said late 40's - early 50's.

Looking good! :)

JustHereIGuess · 08/11/2016 17:31

Oh please people....

Am I the only one that can see that the picture has been edited... Smoothed out?

And for a 59 year old woman you shouldn't be attention seeking online!!

ScarletForYa · 08/11/2016 17:32

I said 50!

IfNotNowThenWhenever · 08/11/2016 17:32

NO way does she look 70?! Do people saying that live in Hollywood?? I would have said 48-54.

Notagain16 · 08/11/2016 17:34

I can't see that justhereIguess.

savedbythebell · 08/11/2016 17:34

You look fantastic Op, you don't look old and tired at all. Love the hair as well.

IfNotNowThenWhenever · 08/11/2016 17:34

My bra straps dig in, and I'm a spring chicken! Outrageous Angry

viques · 08/11/2016 17:34

I guessed 59. But why? Can't be arsed to read whole thread so if op has explained can someone explain. Thanks.

PutAPlasterOn · 08/11/2016 17:35

Was going to say 42!!!

You look bloody amazing. Love your hair. If you're concerned about it looking brassy try some violet shampoo. Wink

KondosSecretJunkRoom · 08/11/2016 17:37

I'm beginning to see why these types of threads are best avoided SuperFly, as compelling as they are - I think you called this bunfight.

Sosidges · 08/11/2016 17:41

I think you look great. And I earn brownie points for guessing you had just gone blonde and that is one of the reasons for asking.

Your skin is lovely. As a bleacher for many years this is what I would do. use John Frieda silverising shampoo and condition every time. While your hair is still wet use the John Freda serum. It really does work.

Highlight with some warmer tones with a visit to a good hairdresser.

MOST IMPORTANTLY ignore the cowardly posters who use the internet to be unkind.

Mindtrope · 08/11/2016 17:51

I am in my 50s too, and I guessed 58. The OP looks like any of my friends of a similar age. Nothing out of the ordinary.

MummyToOneGirl · 08/11/2016 17:53

You look amazing, much younger than 59!. I really like your hair too, it suits you.

oldlaundbooth · 08/11/2016 17:56

Looking good Bertha Grin

ScarletForYa · 08/11/2016 17:56

Would you not get your hair dyed back your natural color OP, it'd be lovely!

Middleoftheroad · 08/11/2016 17:59

I would have said 50. U look great and like a fun person too. I think a youthful attitude is just as important

MummyToOneGirl · 08/11/2016 17:59

Also, I admire your courage for posting your picture on here. Ignore the spiteful idiots who have made nasty comments. They are pathetic and probably jealous they don't look half as good as you.

Goingtobeawesome · 08/11/2016 18:01

I said 35 Smile.

polyhymnia · 08/11/2016 18:21

I thought around 60 because generally you look like I and my friends of that age do/did. Definitely not 'old and tired' at all!

I think the hair style is good from point of view of not dragging your face down, but the colour lets it down a bit - the suggestions for more subtle colour would be worth following up now you've taken the plunge.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 08/11/2016 18:30

Ya, Bertha came back!

You look fab for your age, when you're 80. you'll look back and think, What the heck was I worrying about?

I was going to say 7 Grin

A silver toner/purple shampoo will transform your hair. Keep the blonde.

Sprink · 08/11/2016 18:36

I'd be interested in seeing a photograph with the former hairstyle, if OP is concerned that the new colour makes her look older/bad.

Please tell me you've looked after your amazing skin, as it would be hugely unfair (but quite possible) that you simply won the genetic lottery with that.

Bluntness100 · 08/11/2016 18:38

I don't think uou look 59, I think uou look much younger. Hard to tell what age though, I think uour hair colour needs to be softer and more honey colour, sorry,,,,😞
