If you have your ears pierced twice, what earrings do you wear?

After years of just wearing one earring per ear, have recently re-opened my second ear piercing on each side (originally as 18yo I had 3 holes one side and cartilage pierced at top but those have closed up for good I think!). I think I like having 2 earrings each side (kidding myself it looks a bit less conventional than 1) but am struggling to find earrings that look good together. Currently wearing this but am getting bored of it and don't know if it looks naff and teenage?? (I am nearly 37!).
I like pearl studs but should they just be worn singly? Or would small and medium pearls look ok? Also have big earlobes and am wondering if double earrings just accentuates this?

I'm the same as the PP, studs in the top hole and hoops in the bottom. Mine have a definite 'top' hole and 'bottom' hole though, yours seem to be more side by side so I don't know if that makes a difference?

I only have two on one side but the top one has only ever had a teeny tiny stud in it and just whatever earrings I have in the other ones - not danglies or hoops because I like to wear them all the time and am clumsy haha

My bottom ones are currently stars (I'm 33 if that helps)

I wear studs atm ive a sun and moon in. I can re open my cartlidge piercing by popping and earing through it hurts though.

Atm I have a tiny moon in the bottom holes then in my right ear two tiny stars and a tiny flower in my cartlidge.
I do have four holes in my left ear but rarely use them all.

I've got small silver hoops in my lobes (two in each) and a diamante stud in my conch and tragus.

I do actually prefer studs but I can't sleep in them as they press into the side of my head, and I am terrible at not losing them! These stay in and don't get lost.

I have hoops in all 6 piercings but have saved this as I think it's really pretty

This is what I wear every day.
If I want to wear dangly ones I take the diamond ones out.

I have three holes in each lobe, and I wear silver sleeper hoops from small through to tiny. I change the lowest for dangly if I'm out somewhere fancy and sometimes then have studs in the top two but not often!

Is sleeper the right term? Like this anyway. Rarely take them out.

I used to have two piercings in each ear. I would switch between two small studs in each, or one stud (top hole) with a dangler ( bottom) or two studs in one ear and either one stud or one dangler in the other. Hope that makes sense!

I gave up on earrings altogether in my mid forties (I'm 60 now) - not because of my age but because I started wearing specs and have a small face so there was too much going on.

hollinhurst84 DS1s girlfriend had that done not long ago, gorgeous isn't it?! DD is going to get it done soon and I f I wasn't almost 40 I'd have it done myself, she said it barely hurt and she's a wimp when it comes to needles and threw up when she got her first hole done a few years ago and (accidentally) punched the women when she got her nose pierced early this year!

Usually 2 pairs of studs. I wear pearl studs a lot and have 2 different sizes so a slightly smaller one for my 2nd piercing. I sometimes wear small drop earrings in the first one.

I keep studs in my second holes all the time, and usually wear either bigger studs or danglies in my first holes.

Sleepers in the top holes, studs in the bottom ones. Or sometimes the other way round. I quite like the idea of two sets of sleepers, though....might have to invest in some matching silver ones.

The bottom hole on my right ear has developed into a slight split, so I can't wear certain designs because they hang wrong, or look crooked. It's very annoying.

I wear sleepers in the top ones and oval creole type on the lower ones I like them jangling but that's just me!

I have a 2 & 1 arrangement on the left & right. In the even pair I wear my proper diamond studs - I don't believe in saving them for best! And in the second piercing in my left ear I wear a classic 18ct gold barrel stud. It's a simple clean look that goes with anything and everything. I never take them out but am considering some Christmas novelty ones this year

I've four in one and three in the other. Tend to wear a mixture but they'd be studs in style. If I can find hoops I liked (no big in other words) I'd wear them.

Keep meaning to get more, but I'm a big wuss about the soreness!!

I have four in each and wear studs, I have a diamond with tiny silver cat ears in the bottom one and then smaller plain diamond studs in the others. Goes with everything and never really get bored.

Sleepers in the top, diamond studs in the bottom (although currently cubic zirconia as I lost one of the diamond ones). considering sleepers on both as I keep losing the studs.

I wear a combination of Primark's cheap studs in the top holes, and then usually a large hoop or dangly earrings in the bottom holes.

I had my ears pierced for the first time at 15, then got a second piercing in each lobe earlier this year at the advanced age of 51.

I usually wear a very tiny gold, silver or diamond stud in the new top one, then whatever I feel like in the original piercing. It's usually something long & dangly, but sometimes another slightly larger stud.

I have 7 holes in one ear (3 at the top) and 4 in the other. I wear danglys in the 1st hole and studs in the rest. I used to wear danglys in the 1st & 3rd holes but stopped years ago.

Your post has made me wonder if I'm a bit old for multiple piercings! I'm 32.
