I'm just about to send back these gorgeous but sadly not at all cushioned Gola Liberty print trainers, they just didn't feel at all like I might spring along the footpath! https://www.gola.co.uk/womens-spirit-liberty-ht-trainer-p1962

I hate the phrase 'perfect for the school run' but my back is bloody killing me since my ds started school and we're speed waking him there pushing my other dc in a double buggy and then the pick up home again, plus taking the other two around town during the day etc etc.

I own some proper running shoes but they're pretty unattractive. My various plimsolls and Converse are the same issue, just a thin sole.

I want something that looks good with blue or grey jeans which I mainly wear, cute, pretty, but cushioned and supportive. I do like the neon look I see other people in. Nike is probably a good bet but just took a look and they're £££ especially if you fancy a bit of Liberty print. New Balance maybe?

Does anyone own a pair they love the look of, go with lots of things, yet are also good for the old back! Smile

I have to say I don't buy Nike for their looks but the ones I've bought have lasted ages and AGES! My husband bought New Balance ones recently and the sole came away from the upper in under three weeks, whereas my Nike Vomeros just go on and on and on. I'm sure Nike make stylish ones too. It's worth paying for the good quality - just look out for sale ones.
