Are these boots awful? Help me decide!

DP bought me a pair of boots. Completely random purchase, lovely gesture BUT these are so painfully not my style. He bought a pair of boots for himself and decided I needed a pair too, bless him. I don't even know if they're acceptable or just completely awful.

If they are acceptable, what the hell do I wear them with?

Ooo keep them! I've had them in brown for a few years and they are fab. Providing you're not super smart they go with loads. I wear with skinnies and jumpers/tops, some dresses and leggings/tights, leggings and long tops/tunic type things. They look really cosy with snuggly jumpers and would be perfect with jumper dresses etc. Got mine out this morning for the school run for the first time this year as it was freezing!

I have just bought another 2 pairs of these having worn through my first pair completely! Relieved the consensus is they are not a style disaster. Incredibly practical comfortable and wear well with the added bonus of being fully waterproof.

Me...give them to me.
