Boden ruched skirt in clearance available to order!

Just that really - nosing through the women's clearance and the very much sought after Boden ruched skirt seems to be available to order at £19.75 clearance price. Both striped and the black, all sizes, the only fly in the ointment being its in stock in 12 weeks!!

I'm tempted to order a striped one for next summer having missed out this year. Can anyone tell me how generous they are, normally an 8 in Boden jeans etc.

That size predictor things seems bonkers. I put into it that I'm a size 8 in skirts in Zara and H&M and it tells me I should order a size 12! WTF! I'm guessing Boden is a bit on the generous side and that I should probably get the 6. Thoughts anyone?

Damn you MN! I've conformed to stereotype and ordered one aswell. I hope the sizing is ok as I'm a 12-14 with a bit of a belly so gone for 14. I didn't want people constantly asking me if I'm upduffed if it's too tight.

Lovinglola - it seems to be there if you follow the link posted above, but not if you go to Clearance and select Skirts, which is odd.

I've ordered two sizes. Fully expecting to look like an overstuffed sausage in both, since I'm short and pear shaped and distinctly fat of arse. Worth a go though.

It's true the size predictor is insane. I'm a 10-12 and it reckons I should order a 16. Why it has deduced this from my order history, I don't know...

What the buggery?! Only clicked on this thread as it's in Trending, and then find I've gone and bought myself a bloody skirt!!! Baaaaaa personified. Oh well, hopefully I won't look like a badly stuffed sofa in it (5'7", size 10-12 heavily biased towards a 12, ordered it in a 12).

This is the first item I have ever, ever ordered from Boden. Bought something from Mint Velvet last week. Turned 40 at the beginning of September. Is this my life now? No more New Look? No more River Island? Waaaaaaaa!!!!!

I just googled the number because I had a vague recollection of getting a Boden catalogue in the post a few weeks ago, so I rung them and said I'd chucked my gift voucher and he gave me a gift voucher number over the phone. £10 off.

Wore mine with a vest top in summer, but looked good with a basic t shirt too and with a grey v neck jumper on chilly days. I have the striped one.

mine are summer skirts
Wore the stripe yesterday with the OFFICIAL MATCHING TOP ( see threads pasism) or the UNiqlo drapey tee and peep toe beige suede heels
got LOADS of comps, as it always attracts them
the black I wear with leopard heels, a black tee shirt and a cream bracelet sleeved jacket

( both work obv)

Oh and baaaaa, I added the striped version to an ongoing basket. Plan to wear with big, oversized knits, opaques and ankle boots in chilly weather. Hopefully it'll be less than 11 weeks.
