Boden ruched skirt in clearance available to order!

Just that really - nosing through the women's clearance and the very much sought after Boden ruched skirt seems to be available to order at £19.75 clearance price. Both striped and the black, all sizes, the only fly in the ointment being its in stock in 12 weeks!!

I'm tempted to order a striped one for next summer having missed out this year. Can anyone tell me how generous they are, normally an 8 in Boden jeans etc.

I think this looks better sized up. It's very clingy. I look a bit stuffed sausage in my usual size.

I'm looking at this as I desperately need smart clothes but I'm horrific at fashion. What on earth would I wear with it? Quick someone point me at a top that will match and not make someone who is a 14/16 and 5'3" look like a dumpy heifer!

I'm 5ft 9ins though & have ordered the regular because I wanted to wear it with opaque tights & boots. Skirts below the knee never suit me, unless it's a full on floor length maxi dress.

I'm hoping it won't look like a belt!

(actually ordered the 12 and the 14 because I'm not sure if I'll need to size up - I'm a 12 in most Boden things but the 14 in the ruched dress is a perfect fit, so...)

I don't understand the idea behind a ruched skirt, can somebody enlighten me?

I imagine it would just make you look like you're wearing a tube skirt that's rode up as you walk (as mine always do). And wouldn't it make you look bigger with all that extra faffyness?

Just ordered mine. Slightly worried as I used the size predictor and it said I should get a 16, even though I always get 14. Hoping the other people saying the sizing is reasonably generous are right as I went for the 14!
