I'm going for an eveing out. A proper one. After years of nothing but Nandos and cineworld. With real adults.

I have nothing to wear.
I do NOT have a big budget but I would like something a bit more grown up than the leggings and smocky shit I usually get.

I'm 5ft5. Size 16. Mummy tummy

YoureaFlutteringCunt · 15/09/2016 20:33

or maybe this?

That second one is lovely Cunt Wink
I say keep it simple, think about what makes you feel confident. What colours do you like?

GinAndOnIt · 16/09/2016 10:29

I second number two, very nice!

AndNowItsSeven · 16/09/2016 10:33

I disagree , both though dresses are really unflattering.
At at size 16 you don't need to shop in plus size.

AndNowItsSeven · 16/09/2016 10:33

Those

WomensNet · 16/09/2016 10:34

OP you have great taste. I loved dress1 until I saw no2, gorgeous and what a bargain!. Please get it.

YoureaFlutteringCunt · 16/09/2016 10:39

I do because my tummy is huge. I'm a 16 in plus size (thats all i buy) and they size big so probably an 18 in highstreet.

I'm not very tall though. Am worried about the length of 2. I usually go knee length or ankle

AgentCooper · 16/09/2016 10:48

Number 2 is lovely, OP! Enjoy your night out Smile

P1nkP0ppy · 16/09/2016 10:54

What bra would you wear with number 2?
I really like too!

YoureaFlutteringCunt · 16/09/2016 10:55

Oh I didn't even notice that :( I definitely need a bra. Shit.

bomfunk · 16/09/2016 11:02

Another vote for number 2! Love it.

misspym · 16/09/2016 11:11

I like the second one but thunk the length might be unflattering. The model is 5'9 so at 4 inches shorter it could look like not quite maxi length on you.

doubleristretto · 16/09/2016 11:50

Are you going to a pub, restaurant, night club, theatre or other? Trying to gauge level of glitzyness required! I'd say definitely not number 2, the length only just works on the model and she's tall also that back is a bra-nightmare!

AndNowItsSeven · 16/09/2016 13:48

I see , the print is lovely in the second dress. It doesn't come in a 16 though.

NightWanderer · 16/09/2016 14:00

Honestly, I think you are better going into a shop and trying stuff on. It's just so hard to tell how things will look on you in real life.

Have a great night out though!

polyhymnia · 16/09/2016 15:49

Impossible to say really unless we know the sort of evening out planned - venue, etc

Freshprincess · 16/09/2016 15:57

Where are you going? I love the print on the second one, but it's a bit wedding-y.

(My nights out are still Nandos and Cineworld related, so feel free to ignore)

KoalaDownUnder · 16/09/2016 16:16

I think you can do better than either of those, tbh - even just on Asos.

YoureaFlutteringCunt · 16/09/2016 16:36

Sorry. It's a posh restaurant and out for drinks. So not wedding party attire but a nice restaurant.

YoureaFlutteringCunt · 16/09/2016 16:37

I'm not keen on 1 anymore having slept on it. And 2 is going to be too long for ne and the back....i don't have a bra that would work

OP posts:
Lucked · 16/09/2016 16:40

I think the shape of 2 was good though, for me the colour was tricky. Will have a look.

KoalaDownUnder · 16/09/2016 16:42

^ completely agree, Lucked
