Look fab with 60's clothes which are currently in vogue

kittylette · 04/02/2007 19:11

yes

mousiemousie · 04/02/2007 19:12

I think real gold and real diamonds always look naff/chavvy but that is just my individual view!

Fillyjonk · 04/02/2007 19:36

oh yes it is fab, isn't it, cf?

how come you can sign then?

moondog · 04/02/2007 20:59

What's the sign then Cal?

Croaky · 04/02/2007 21:41

Wear em every day. Big-ish, silver ones. Tres chic imo.

I've been wearing quite big silver hoops too, not huge but not small. They go nicely with the 60s look that's in atm. Dangly earings don't suit me and you can't see studs as my hair covers them. I am not a chav nor do I dress like one and I think this makes a difference.

southeastastra · 04/02/2007 22:37

sade used to wear them all the time. we all wore them in the 80s

ledodgy · 04/02/2007 22:39

I think thick small brassy gold hoops look more chav especially if worn with sovereign rings.

Urgent warning to hoop wearers - Mine nearly made me scrash my car today. I was doing a quick over the shoulder check, when my right hoop caught around my seatbelt, if I had turned back I would have ripped my ear off!. Had to quickly pull over whilst drivng with my head sideways on ( not recommnded ) to unloop myslef. Still I do like to suffer for fashion, keeps it real!!
