In fact I thought they were chavvy (or equivalent) 20 years ago.

Sheraz · 03/02/2007 21:46

I am A CHAV!!

ja9 · 03/02/2007 21:47

do you remember the wee fine gold hoops that were called 'sleepers'?

Sheraz · 03/02/2007 22:03

I wore two sets of sleepers in each ear - Chavtastic!

moondog · 03/02/2007 22:05

I have never seen anyone wearing those much referred to clown necklaces.
Maybe not a North Wales thing...

Do an image search for "chav earrings" on google and see what comes up...

expatinscotland · 03/02/2007 22:51

No. Not on someone who's olive complected, dark hair and eyes.

northerner · 03/02/2007 22:52

Depends on the size and how you wear them in my opinion. I wear mine when my hair is down and I have a simple top on or if I wear them with my hair up I wear them with a polo neck jumper. They are silver hoops and they are fairly big. The look I hate is the creoles, and not just a single pair lots of them! and chavs tend to wear them with their silly tracksuits. Yuk, yuk, yuk.
