Have they discontinued the Loreal anti dandruff shampoo?!!

The black one with the orange lid which used to be the blue one they rebranded?

Can't find any in Boots,Tesco or Superdrug.

Hyperventilating ever so slightly...

Yes - sadly it was discontinued a while back. They still do it in the men's version I think! I have switched to Body Shop ginger shampoo which is actually much better for my ridiculously sensitive scalp.

Ginger shampoo is ok but Loreal is the ONLY thing that keeps my scalp under control!

I know my sister uses the men's version. She will be gutted if they discontinue that too.

Yes, that's where it usually is along with other dandruff shampoo and now nothing...

If we all bulk buy today perhaps they'll realise how popular it is and get more stock in stores.

OR you and I could buy up all the stock and make a fortune reselling it on Amazon? They are charging quite a bit for the original women's version! Grin

Asda have it! You had me worried then too.

I always buy 2/3 bottles at a time incase they decide to discontinue it.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I can’t find this shampoo anywhere - not even Tesco :( the only thing that worked on my dandruff, I contacted L’oreal who said yes it’s dicsontinued and instead recommended I use another of their dandruff shampoos but they don’t have the same active ingredient of selenium sulfide and piroctone olamine Angry

Yes- it actually has been discontinued now Sad

I also noticed none of the others contains selenium.

I haven't found anything to replace it with yet. Back to the drawing board I guess, with occasional Nizoral in the meantime.

There was a thread about this a week or two ago. I contacted L’Oréal who confirmed that it has definitely been discontinued. I’m so gutted and now down to my last bottle. I have such a sore, sensitive scalp and that stuff really was a miracle for me. If anyone discovers an alternative product which is as good please let me know!

Oh no! It’s the only one that does anything for me. I still have a bottle and half so need to start my research.

I have tried The Body Shop ginger shampoo but it doesn’t work for me.

Have they continued this again? A few places online seem to be stocking it when I just googled. I’m a bit concerned they may have rebranded, can’t see selinium listed in the ingredients.

That's the normal one, not the intensive one with the orange lid. Dh was looking for some today and we couldn't find any

What is it with L'Oréal...they had the perfect anti dandruff shampoo in the orange/blue bottle...worked a treat for years...then they rebrand it but that didn't work (for me anyway) nor do any of their shampoos...now they're doing it again with those rebranded versions...phytoclear is rubbish and is regularly discounted...come on L'Oréal, give your customers what they want and stop p...ing us off!

No, no, no!!! They can't have discontinued it... Aarrghhh it's the only thing that works. Help! Somewhere must have some old stock I can buy hundreds of bottles? I freaked out last time when they changed from blue to the mens black and orange, and always bought in threes... But now you're saying its gone for good? WHY ShockShockShock

It's the selenium I think that works. Any other normal shampoos that contain that? I've been googling but only coming up with weird names I've never heard of, in the US

Head and shoulders do a selenium one in a small bottle that's in a box. I bought some for dh. I'll see if I can find a link
