Wedding dress help! Urgent ... size 16 (pics incl.)

I am going to a wedding in September and need help/tips/suggestions for the dress! It is an important occasion (people to impress) and I am fairly clued out on what colours to avoid (black?). I need a size 16 dress, preferably fit and flare style, with some sleeves. Would any of the below two be ok ... It looked good when I tried it. OR can anyone suggest a tried and tested dress? Please do help ...

I like them but no.2 is far too short for a wedding.

The black and white striped could look lovely if well accessorised, maybe with bright (green? Pink? Blue?) shoes/bag and chunky necklace? Do you know how 'stiff' it is? If it is more jersey like, it might be too casual but it looks stiff, hence, to me, formal enough.

I like the first one. If the weather's bad you can pair it with a brightly coloured wrap, cardi or jacket and some bright shoes. You'll look gorgeous.

Stripey one is lovely, would look fab with red/bright pink shoes/bag etc.

I like the stripey one and I think its neckline would be more flattering if you have a larger bust than the other as its very high cut.

Thank you for the suggestions! Stripey one - The material is a bit stiff but not too much. As the wedding is in Italy and the weather will be too warm so I think fabric and pattern will be perfect for that.

Please could you point me to shoes and bag - a bit more precisely? Any examples ... ?

Orange would be fab! And different too, I'd avoid nude/navy/purple

I love orange with monochrome or navy. It will look good in Italy.

How about this sort of combination with the dress? Not exactly these but something of this sort ...

you do need fairly slender ankles/legs for those sandals though - are you ok in that dept? Otherwise a higher court might be better.

I don't think the stripy one is particularly weddingy and you'll probably stand out in every single picture. Id look for something in a block colour or a less bold pattern.
