Pretty tea style dress

I'm going out in a couple of weeks, just to pubs etc so don't want to be too dressy but want to look nice, especially since I have lost 1.5 stone (still have a long way to go!).

I like wearing tea style dresses, vintage (NOT lindybop!) /boho style dresses.

I have a beige boyfriend blazer I would wear with it and would either wear pumps or Chelsea boots depending on weather.

I'm a size 16/18 and have a budget of about £50, but would prefer to spend less.

Any ideas?

Have you checked asos curve?

Lj8893 · 21/08/2016 21:31

That new look dress is very very right style wise but size wise too big. I love it though, can imagine in red it's even nicer!

Someone mentioned this site on another thread today, I've never heard of them, but I bookmarked as they have lovely vintage things.

Prettykittyfashions.co.uk do some lovely tea dresses.

Lj8893 · 21/08/2016 21:33

Yeah I have every.

Good tips about changing the currency on carousel, I've realised that they do ship to the UK. Haven't found anything that's quite right for this night out though, although some lovely dresses for work so will bookmark the link!

If you put "tea dress" into Asos there are quite a lot. (Some many are hideous though)

WickerLoveHearts · 21/08/2016 21:37

Select do tea dresses which are vintage style. They're very cheap and wash quite well all things considered. I've got two Grin www.selectfashion.co.uk/s:tea%20dress%20/

PrincessHairyMclary · 21/08/2016 21:37

Dickins and Jones from House of Fraser (check their sale bits) and TU from Sainsburys ( I find their clothes a similar quality as Next / M&S but a fraction if the price)

Lj8893 · 21/08/2016 21:40

The link for the new look dress started at size 22 Sad

Have you got a link for the jigsaw eBay dresses?

Another vote for lady vintage. I've got one of their tea dresses and it's good quality and fit.

plumdriver · 21/08/2016 21:47

I was coming on to say Dickens and Jones but someone has beat me to it. They are expensive but worth it.

Also, have you looked at Very ? I've had a lot of nice dresses from there

Monzeitia · 21/08/2016 21:48

Eucalyptus, it's currently a sale in Secretsales

Badgoushk · 21/08/2016 21:58
