Looking for comfy laceless trainers please

I've lived in Gola suede trainers (very 90s I know Grin) for years, followed by Converse.

The laces are a pain though as my shoes are on and off all day, and they come undone quite a bit too.

So... I'm looking at laceless trainers. However lots of them look like they have thin soles and wouldn't be very comfy - I'd really like some which are properly padded inside iykwim. And I'm not a fan of a huge wodge of white plastic round the sole (flatforms?) Neutral colours preferred.

Can anyone point me to some which might fit the bill? As you can probably tell I'm more about comfort than fashion Smile

I have skechers go walk and they are like wearing comfy slippers outside :-)

I've got some ecco ones with elastic laces - they're stretchy so you never have to 'do' the laces. Fabulously comfy

Definately go walks. I wear no other now. In the summer Mary Jane style, in between filled in type then winter Go Walk Chugga boots. Like walking in slippers all the time

I live in my Skechers. I told the guy in the Skechers shop in Birmingham they were "like walking on angels farts" Strangely they haven't adopted that as a tag line but by God it's true!

I only wear Go Walks. I dread wearing any other shoes.

If you like Converse, I recently got some laceless shoes from Mustang which have a similar(ish) look but I find them slightly more comfortable - if you are after something very cushiony you still wouldn't like them, but if you are OK (or nearly) in Converse you might. They come in various colours and styles, see these for example.

I LOVE being able to pop them on and off easily (I have skinny feet so have to tie laces up tight and then untie them to get off) and they are also great for cycling, as my bike is terrible for tangling with shoelaces but with these I don't have to worry!

I live in Skechers Go Walk shoes. I have fibromyalgia, and very soft delicate trotters. They can be bought from 39.99 from 24Studio, splendid bargains.

I've had my sketchers about 2 weeks now and can't bring myself to wear any other shoes .. They are far too comfy , I think they look fine too
