Mine are:
Comfort while regaining mobility after an injury.
Being away on holiday in a town where nobody knows me.

Kids wear them to swimming lessons and sometimes in garden and in holiday. They are genius in that they can be completely cleaned very easily. I wear them round the house and I also have the sandals linked to above which are very comfortable and I've worn them out to dinner as well. I love crocs, they don't even seem ugly anymore.

Palomb · 11/07/2016 21:07

They are THE BEST holiday shoes! I really
Couldn't give A toss if anyone doesn't like
My shoes when I'm surrounded by baguettes, French cheese and vin rouge!

Cherrypie32 · 11/07/2016 22:34

Shamefully worn on the school run today but hope to be excused as have Osteo arthritis in both big toes and am running out of shoe options fast. Previously only worn for camping and shower at the gym.

mrsclooneytoyou · 11/07/2016 22:37

I had horrendous corns and they were the only things I could wear till my feet healed.
I now wear them as slippers Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 11/07/2016 22:45

Ridiculously comfortable with my arthritis. I wear inside house, and garden. Otherwise I have to pop horrendously expensive insoles in to my "out the house" shoes.

Did get caught short wearing them in a supermarket though. They're bright pink Jaynas. But they are so comfy I didn't really care.

SkyblueAnnie · 11/07/2016 22:46

I wear mine for camping - can wear them with socks and they are waterproof.

In the garden - same reason.

Popping to my mums - she lives jus round the corner and it's like wearing outdoor slippers.

If you are going to wear them you need to wear the full on ugly ones with a ' don't care' attitude.

No explanation no apologies!

pippinandtog · 12/07/2016 08:22

Tactfulcactus, yes, you do need them- you won't look back.
Love seeing all the positive reviews on here, and will wear mine with renewed pride.

Thank you pippin! I love my fitflops so maybe I should also embrace crocs! I can see they'd be good for camping. My only worry is a shoe obsessed dog - I can imagine they will be a favourite of hers too!

KP86 · 12/07/2016 08:35

I love my croc huaraches, have two regular pairs of flip flops and one of the half-ballet style with heel straps.

Sooooo comfy and they don't get wrecked in the wet weather.

My feet even have croc strap tan.

suchafuss · 12/07/2016 21:51

Partial amputation of foot and could only wear Crocs for a long time!

Beautifullymixed · 12/07/2016 21:54

Croc strap tan Grin

CatherineDeB · 12/07/2016 22:00

Summer gardening, trips to the outside loo, barn and camping here, around the tent and to the showers only tbh.

Delfy · 13/07/2016 20:19

As a PF sufferer I may have been convinced to buy a pair.

Also for fellow sufferers the sketchers flex appeal trainers have been a complete life saver and are now my go to travelling shoe

MysteriesOfTheOrganism · 13/07/2016 20:33

Fabulously comfortable - they were the only thing I could wear when I developed plantar fasciitis. Cheap as chips - regularly £9.99 in Sports Direct (sorry). Worn every day for 2 years before the soles became dangerously smooth. Fashion snobs - pfft.

Libitina · 13/07/2016 20:38

Theatre nurse here so I wear the 'specialist ones. Very comfy and more importantly, very easy to clean too.

ladybird69 · 16/07/2016 00:27

I took the mickey out of my friend for years for wearing hers then when I injured my toe she bought me a pair!!! Omg so comfy, I'm still apologising to her now, love them.

Atlas15 · 16/07/2016 00:30

I bought my daughter 16months a pair of fake ones from PoundLand. They are great. It isn't a struggle to put them on, they are comfortable and she can't pull them off easily.

vjg13 · 16/07/2016 07:13

Never out of the house properly but love them for putting out washing, feeding hens etc.

Dizzybintess · 30/08/2016 08:27

They are good for camping especially going to the loo in the middle of the night

Kr1stina · 30/08/2016 08:31

I have crocs that don't look like crocs . That's my excuse

Hoppinggreen · 30/08/2016 09:30

I wear my crocs flip flops and ballet flats in public but reserve the clogs ones for gardening and pressure washing the decking - but don't try and pressure wash your crocs while still wearing them cos it REALLY hurts!!

specialsubject · 30/08/2016 10:17

They look a lot better than fugly staggering heels or waddling in ballet flats- and wont knacker your feet/back like heels or flats.
