Teva sandals. Hideous? Comfortable? I just don't know

I'm hoping to go to Vegas in August. It's going to be hot and there will be a lot of walking. I have Skechers Go Walks and Bob's (like Toms with a memory foam sole) but I want some comfy open toe shoes too. I can't wear toe post shoes. I've got some Birkenstocksbehind I love but because they're hard soles I find them uncomfortable after a while.
So I was looking at these Teva sandals
Are they hideous? If they are but they're also comfortable I don't think I care so are they comfy?

these are the other style of tevas. Still not high in the fashion stakes if I like them, but not as functional as the originals if you prefer.

CowVersusMouse I go in the water in them and they've always been fine - they also dry really quickly.

I really like them and they are perfect for loads of walking and staying cool in the heat.

As other PPs have said, Teva are in fashion this year! But personally who cares about fashion, if you like it then wear it! Have fun in Vegas!

I have these Tevas and have walked miles and miles and miles around Vegas in them multiple times. Recommend.

Tevas are trendy are they not? They're much cooler than saltwaters imo .

They've arrived. V comfy on first wear. They smell rather plasticky but I'm sure that will wear off.

They do smell a bit weird but I love mine (smell still there 9 years later!)

I bought them on recommendation from friend who had just been round the world and we were doing something similar - trekking holiday.

Wore them whilst pregnant with awful SPD and have been wearing them this summer because I've had a foot injury.

They won't win any best dressed awards but they are brilliant from a practicality POV.

And I do think I'm pretty stylish!
