Now i promised that I would never buy a pair of these, but starting theatres soon, and working on a ward and have seen loads of people wearing them for work.

Do you have a pair, what are they like? And whats with the sizing because I tried a 4 on yesterday and they were massive!

P.S I am buying black, not lime green

i still love my birkenstocks as well (3 summer this year if they hold out), but crocs are very light. i had a look on ebay to see if there qwere any crocs going cheap due to it being winter but no such luck.

mosschops30 · 22/01/2007 16:17

Theyre not too bad, with a student discount they will be £27 which is a lot less than youd pay for trainers or hush puppies for work

I've got the flip flop ones in black it has to be said they are the best summer shoes I have ever had. Got them in US in Dec, for about 15 quid, and they dont stink your feet out either. Dont care what cod thinks, she should smell my birkies!

merlotmama · 23/01/2007 23:05

What I can't understand is, if they are totally synthetic, why are they not sweaty?

Also, I have narrow feet. Would they be any good for me or would they just fall off?

Linnet · 23/01/2007 23:29

I bought a pair last summer in black and they are fab I love them. I wore them when we were in France and they were prefect for wandering around in dusty/sandy areas, perfect for putting on right after coming out of the pool and they are so comfortable.

The only thing I don't wear them for is driving as they're a bit loose and hard to feel between pedals.

I'm a size 4 or 5 when it comes to shoes and I bought my crocs in a size 5, they're fine for me.

I noticed the other day that the shop I bought them from now has crocs wellies in the window!

mosschops - they are very popular here in Aus amongst theatre staff - saw them when dd1 had her surgery and see them on theatre staff when they are wandering round the hospital also.... very attractive white ones.

i love mine - have been great for pottering about and wearing around. No smell.... a little sweaty but it is hot and humid here. Bought dds knock off ones and they love them too.

nappyaddict - you just flip the strap over and they become mules.

cheesyfeet - even here in stinking hot aus - no smell!!

And you can put them in the dishwasher...
