Now i promised that I would never buy a pair of these, but starting theatres soon, and working on a ward and have seen loads of people wearing them for work.

Do you have a pair, what are they like? And whats with the sizing because I tried a 4 on yesterday and they were massive!

P.S I am buying black, not lime green

CODNoMore · 22/01/2007 15:58

CODNoMore · 22/01/2007 15:58

ime you se someoen in them and you think "you total arse"

florenceuk · 22/01/2007 15:59

Well in NZ everyone was wearing them, after a while they just looked normal! I still didn't buy a pair, but I was tempted (I don't think my Tevas look any more stylish but they do the job). Isn't it a bit like dresses over trousers - after a while you just absorb them into your world view, as it were.

itsmeNDP · 22/01/2007 15:59

Fio, ime hospital wards are always hot, hot, hot, regardless of what the weather outide is doing.

expatinscotland · 22/01/2007 15:59

They're cheap as chips in the US .

I had some sent across.

My mother hates them and made me swear I'd only wear them around the house and to the beach.

She got a pair of the slide types, though, for a cruise.

Ponce.

cod don't be ridiculous You think someone is a total arse because you don't like their shoes

mosschops30 · 22/01/2007 16:00

cod if i'm gonna stand in theatre for 8 hours I dont care what they look like and apparently they combat mrsa

wish I could get away with buying a better colour like silver! but dont think the NHS would go for that. If only all shoes came in 20 different colours

So does anyone have the answer on sizes, why was a 4 big on me, is it to do with the width and the length? God its going to take me ages to try all the sizes.

CODNoMore · 22/01/2007 16:01

noddy of COURSE i judge ont heir shoes

CheesyFeet · 22/01/2007 16:02

Someone at work bought a pair with curvy soles that apparently help tone your legs and improve your posture. Someone else tried them out and hobbled around like an old hag.

I don't have a pair, but I would buy some if I could justify spending the cash. Shoe budget of precisely fuck all atm.

Fab fab fab for little girls, esp with the clip on thingies.

The slip on ballet slipper ones are vomtastic though.

Are they really odour free? I live up to my name in the summer

noddyholder · 22/01/2007 16:02

mine say m4 and w6 on the base and they fit me perfectly and I am a 4 in normal shoes HTH Mine are gold cruise ship chic

MegaLegs · 22/01/2007 16:03

My parents got me a pair in the states. They are khaki with an orange strap. They'd be fine if it wasn't for my size 10 feet. They are eeenormous. I wear them to do the chickens and get the logs in.

noddyholder · 22/01/2007 16:04

Once you have worn a pair you will have to eat your words
