A furry muff? norty
How about a cape with feathery trim?

And some silk long johns underneath?

JackieNo · 15/01/2007 12:16

Maybe don't try to match it, but tone in with flowers etc? Or go ott and have a cloak

madmarchhare · 15/01/2007 12:18

pageturner · 15/01/2007 12:18

pashmina? Look here , they have loads of colours and styles. I have a couple and even the jacquard water one is quite warm.

More cloaks .

JackieNo · 15/01/2007 12:21

And various fur wraps and cloaks .

MrsBadger · 15/01/2007 12:22

good lord, with a skirt that big you could wear trainers and no-one would see them, so an exact colour match is the least of your worries.

I found the shoes in bridal shops were all too high / narrow / pointy so bought them online - dancewear shops also often have a good selection. This type of shoe is good as they don't have huge heels, aren't too pointy, and the strap means they stay on when you're dancing. These people have quite a good range too.

No clue on keeping warm though - I got married in August specifically so I wouldn't have this problem - but if you wanted a shrug, cape or wrap, this is the cheapest place I know.

kittylette · 15/01/2007 12:22

oooh i like the silk pashminas,

i was looking at this they do it in a more champagney colour too

but do you think its too much?? not price wise (she sells them for £70 btw in summer) just in the over all look??

KezzaG · 15/01/2007 12:51

Would you consider a colour? I have 3 dark red/wine coloured vevet wraps from Monsoon. My bridemaids had them but they would lovely as a bride too, and I would be happy to lend one out if that helps.

kittylette · 15/01/2007 12:56

thanks kezza, thats lovely, but im having blue as my colour and it wouldnt really match,

but its lovely of you to offer

kittylette · 15/01/2007 22:26

what about these shoes ?

or will i need closed toes in nov?

OP posts:
JackieNo · 15/01/2007 22:28

Where will you be doing pictures? Open toes not good if you're having to stand on wet grass or something (or do they provide a red carpet for you?) And you'd have to do the tights/stockings or bare legs thing, so yet another decision.

BuffysMum · 15/01/2007 22:29

it's back on then? What happened put on a thread link

kittylette · 15/01/2007 22:32

Katymac · 15/01/2007 22:37

I wore a floor length opera cloak and was very warm (january with snow on the ground)

It was black lined with lilac silk & my flowers were purples & cream - my dress was winter white

It was impressive (IMO)
