How much do you spend on your kids' clothes (and yours for that matter!)

Just interested really. My kids have lots of stuff from nice places (m&s, Boden Jo Jo etc) but I mostly get them in sales in next size up.
I reckon I spend £100pmonth on two kids including shoes
For myself, it's nearer £400, which I need to cut down as it's silly - I blame S&B!

Loads on dd, hardly any on me! Dd probably £150+ a month

I worked out roughly what my kids aged 10 & 11 needed not wanted and priced it up and divided it by 12 and it came to 70€ a month per person. This would be assuming that I had to buy a whole new wardrobe though.

I have 4 so I rotate them each month of child benefit. It ends up being £500 per year per kid for everything.
For me, well I had to leave 90% of my clothes when we moved in a hurry so it's about £2,000 a year for the next few years whilst I replace everything.

I do a 'big shop' for DD 3 x a year in H&M - comes to about £150 each time.
Top up with bits and pieces from supermarkets, occasional Ebay gem and shoes usually from Next online. Probably comes to about £600-700 a year when all totted up.

DS's stuff all comes from supermarkets, Sports Direct and Primark because he basically lives in tee shirts and trackie bottoms and isn't fashion conscious at all yet. But he is adult-size, so it still all adds up. Probably about the same as for DD over the year.

I send far too much on myself . All high street stuff, but am a bit of an addict...

My budget is £30 a month for both DS (13) and me.

I have two todders and I spent 20 last month and about 50 during Easter hols but that was on summer clothes. That should sufffice until September.

I spend 150 last month on myself as I badly needs trousers and a swimsuit but most months it's 30 maximum

DS is 20 months and I do a bulk shop every time he moves up a size. Most stuff from H&M but also treat stuff from Next and JL and some cheaper stuff from Primark. I probably spend on average about £75 a month. More if I buy shoes for him. I probably spend £150 on myself. Both far too much. I think I have about 10 t-shirts for DS at the mo for example....but some were only £1.80 at Primark!

I don't know how you can spend £150 in h&m for a season [shocked] DD lives in their basic range. £2.99 a summer dress and she has 6 of them. Also 6 of those 3 for 2 leggings. A pack of socks.

Then school uniform is £3 gingham dress from sainsbury.

I don't really track them but I get only just enough. And minimal pairs of shoes too.

Not that much. Probably about £75pm on DS1 (teen sizes and hard on clothes) and half that on DS2, who gets some of DS1's hand-me-downs and isn't has hard on clothes unless he's going through a bad chewing phase. £100-150pm on me. This has been an expensive month, so far, for me, as I've bought myself a new raincoat for £88 - pretty much replacing one I've had for half a decade - and a £22 pair of trainers (my annual Nike Darts, only they had a good colourway heavily reduced in the factory outlet, this year) Plus a couple of tops in the Fatface sale because I've chucked a couple out, recently (£45).

Forgot a £30 pair of jeans for myself and some new trainer liner socks!

£200 is an extravagant month!

About £30 a month for both DC - my mum enjoys buying clothes for the children, so she gets the majority of their wardrobes.

If was buying their clothes, I'd spend about £60 a month - I buy the next size up in sales, so could get loads.

I spend about £40 a month on myself.

I buy most of the kids clothes in the sales 2 x a year, mostly next with some Boden, Jojo maman and gap. Have never worked it out before but spent £1.4klast year - that includes about £300 on shoes but doesn't include school uniform (4 yo twins).
Spent £2.2k on clothes for myself though. Gulp.

I think I spend about 200 pounds a year on my clothes and 300 pounds a year on dd, including her school uniform. I buy lots of things second hand, and a few basics in Primark and some sale finds. I don't need to spend much on me because I have lots of clothes from previous years of over shopping.

Last year I bought myself an expensive coat which should last 10 years, it had 60 percent off but still cost 75 pounds. I never pay full price for anything but I sometimes manage to buy good quality things which have been heavily discounted.

Discounting football strips because they're ridiculous.
Not all that much - he mostly wears trackies and occasionally jeans from Asda, H&M etc and tops etc from there too. He is not interested in non football clothes just wants them to be comfy. Maybe £200/yr?
Shoes £40 school shoes and maybe £70-100 on other shoes
Plus school uniform

She's growing faster and is forever putting holes in knees but also has older cousins so gets a lot of hand me downs.
I reckon maybe £400/year?
Plus same on shoes as ds and school uniform.

Me probably about £150/year on shoes and £350/400 year on clothes

DS 16 has two p/time jobs and pocket money which add up to over £160 a month so buys most of his clothes out of that along with Christmas and birthday money. We give him extra for necessities like shoes, coat, socks etc.
DD14 has a paper round plus pocket money, when she has spent her birthday and Christmas money, which mostly goes on clothes I take her shopping a few times a year to top up on things like coats, shoes underwear and school uniform. No uniform for DS this year though he is leaving school after his exams.
Just buy as we need stuff. £400-£500 each maybe?
On me I like to buy a few things a year that I really love usually of decent quality.

Not much. I buy clothes and shoes on Ebay and pick some up in charity shops. That way the children get really good quality clothes and shoes, and it doesn't cost much. I got a bit overexcited when I first discovered Ebay though, so they have too many clothes at the moment. Private school uniform for dc1 was expensive, as there wasn't much available 2nd hand.

I've spent arround £300+ on 4 kids - mainly sportwear plus trainers/track shoes.3 out of the 4 do loads of sport - cricket kit ,under Amor ,waterproofs,shirts/,running leggings all needed to be purchased.Nearly every weekend I end up buying someone a pair of trainers.This month I also need to pay for Tennis hoodies and have spent nearly £100 on athletics club hoodies and T shirts.
The only good thing is that they spend most of the year in their sports kits do don't need many clothes.I hit the Next sale in summer for their summer holiday wardrobe.

Have no idea about the kids as I have 5 and hand stuff down where I can and tend to buy stuff as they need rather than all at once. Usually a mixture of Sainsbury's and next,the older 3 lived in boden stuff when they were littleand the younger two wear a lot of it now,but I don't tend to buy from there anymore.

I get my clothes from asos mainly and probably spend on average 100 a month but again I do it as and when I need it.

Anything from £400 - about £600 per month on each of my boys. I don't really spend a lot of myself these days.

I just buy stuff as and when they need it. They have a limited but decent choice which is fine as they wear school uniform everyday anyway. I'm guessing I would be spending a heap of money if they had to wear their own clothes to school.

As for me, again, as and when I need or want it. I don't feel like I spend much on clothes, shoes and coats but I seem to have a lot of stuff. I don't buy lots of cheap stuff for the sake of it. I buy decent quality that lasts.

Annoyingly the more overweight I get the more I have to spend on decent cut and material. The slimmer I am I can wear any old thing and it looks fine.
