There is a large round mark on the Massimo Dutti belt I bought on Sat - where the security tag was - am about to phone their cs in the hope they'll send another.

Smaller boden trousers are a good fit but no belt loops - can't decide whether to keep or not

Blingy my heart says the red ones but not sure you'd use for work? 8.5 cm is the perfect heel height imho though so guess am on fence and no help for the decision making.

Have achieved loads today, was worried last week that I was becoming lazy and possibly deficient in something that was making me lethargic but back on form, have even fitted in a quick shop in between appointments. Bought the cobalt pony hair stans plus the following from Marant:

peasant shirt. This is quite billowy but more fitted at bottom so designed to be tucked in.

denim dress. I love the fit around shoulders and the frayed neckline. Will wear this loads.

Going past Zara on the bus I spotted lots of blue and white stuff in window that looked good plus still thinking about APC bags and summer shoes. Have the being excessive feeling, albeit softened by great Marant discount, need to calm myself down and rein it in

Put in a cocktail shaker, shake and strain in a glass:

1 measure Pasoa (passion fruit liqueur)
1 measure lemon juice
2 measures Tanqueray 10 gin
1/2 passion fruit (optional)
Splash of Angostura Bitters
Crushed ice

Spent the day doing nothing as DH and the DC were home as it was a public holiday here.

Thanks Stokey for reminding me about the Boden voucher, just ordered a navy/green resin bangle and some shorts for dc. The code on the voucher gave me less of a discount than the one that was already there on screen.

I think most of us agreed on Autumn for my colours?? I was wearing an autumn colour though which may have confused matters, will wear a more winter shade next time for comparison. I had so much fun trying on everyone's lipsticks, why can't grown ups do that sort of stuff more often?!
Mara love both of those and now that I have met you can totally picture you in them! there was a nice white with blue embroidery tunic/dress on the zara website last week with the same vibe as that top. I was going to order to see how it looked with skinnies but I blinked and its gone.

another bag bites the dust! this time its a bag of stuff for the charity shop though, not a packed up bag. theres already a bin bag of clothes to go to my other sister as well so i think i'm doing okay. seem to be getting into a sort of rhythm with it now and have a better idea of what i want to keep vs get rid of. trying not to hold onto things just for purely sentimental reasons unless its something very special

Good choice on the shoes blingy - I'm wearing my beloved burgundy rockstuds today. Will get a heeled pair at some point. Also wearing burgundy twist front dress, leopard print trench and burgundy Pashli (which weighs a ton but good for my biceps, I guess)!

Have just about recovered from Saturday! Am trying to have a week of abstinence before Saturday but in reality I'll be pleased if I make it to Thursday!

Just taken my new nude uniqlo skirt to be shortened. Tried it on sober last night and it's slightly trailing on the ground. They're only charging £11 for the alteration. Thought it wold be more expensive. I've ordered the same skirt in black too but will wait and see how the new hem looks before getting that one chopped off.

Had a dodgy tummy and vomit episode last night do feel quite tough today. I think I might have had far too much drink and not enough food over the weekend. Going to try tee total until Saturday.

Need 1 or 2 steroid injections in my shoulder tomorrow, am a bit apprehensive but as it's throbbing at the moment I'm looking forward to being pain free in it. Hope it works.

Just shortened the strap of my G Darel black bag to make it a shoulder bag, to wear on other arm rather than cross body. it dawned on me that is exactly what I need to be able to do with a tan one, should I ever come across the right bag at the right shade at the right price.
