Past volumes here.

I tried to post on the previous thread and realized that it was full.

Anyone still around?

I have a parcel from Korea waiting for me at the post office. Can't wait. Grin

Wow Lumpy that's quite the weekend club sandwich you've got there!!!

Botemp look at it this way - by the time we can order our TO goodies all products will be out and we can make s more "informed" and effective purchase Wink

botemp · 01/10/2016 20:23

True, Aurora, another month will give time for more voices with a decent amount of experience. I still think I'm going to end up buying the entire line.

Frustratingly I really like the M+G Vit E Moisturiser, Lumpy, even though I hate the majority of the ingredients and my face supposedly does too but has no issues with it and absolutely loves it and the hydration it provides Confused. Very tempted to get some for the winter as soon as my current one runs out.

I think I'm going to sheetmask tonight as it's been awhile, maybe I'll try the Naruko Magnolia mask over the Naruko Magnolia Gelly and see if I wake up like a fully fledged porcelain doll this time Grin.

HeyMacWey · 01/10/2016 21:09

That is super hydration :o

Just wondering if I can use my cosrx galactomyces after the retinoid in the pm.

LumpySpacedPrincess · 01/10/2016 21:17

Can't see why not HeyMac, give it a go and see how it feels.

AuroraPolaris · 01/10/2016 21:18

Haha, I'm also sitting with a sheet mask (on top of the GOA ampoule) Wine

HeyMacWey · 01/10/2016 21:25

Just found some info on reddit - should be fine - just need to wait 15-20 mins after applying.

hollinhurst84 · 01/10/2016 21:55

I have makeup on in this pic but so happy with my skin! Before even makeup wouldn't cover the cystic spots and I still looked rough Grin

Has your skin completely cleared hollin? It's a lovely feeling isn't it. Smile

What products do you use?

I am very impressed with the acid I used last night, my skin is uber soft this morning. I love that they offer each type in different strengths. I used the 10% Salicylic as I've had a few chin spots lately, thought I'd seen the back of those. Sadly I think I am reacting to my Kikumasamune sake lotion which makes me so sad as it's lovely to use and so cheap. I bought it to replace my Benton aloe lotion which had run out. I'm gonna wait a week then give it another go.

I'm also working my way through the Thayers toners and they are all lovely, neutral ph too.

AuroraPolaris · 02/10/2016 09:10

That looks really great hollin! Well done!!!

DidgeDoolittle · 02/10/2016 09:47

Hi everyone. I'm new to this thread but love all things skincare etc.
I'm in Hong Kong at the moment and wondered what people would recommend me to buy to take home?
My skin is dirty, old and dehydrated after weeks of travelling and neglect.
TIA

botemp · 02/10/2016 10:06

Ugh ICI Paris is out of both sizes of DHC so I bought the Muji one again. Since I was on eBay anyway I also ended up buying a travel size version of Shu Uemura's Ultime8 cleansing oil to try out as I've heard good things about it and hoping the fragrance won't irritate.

Hollin, you look great! Now stop rubbing all the Ordinaries in my face, or actually do Grin

Welcome Didge, hard to recommend anything specific beyond getting yourself some Japanese SPF at Watson's and a HA lotion without knowing specific concerns. This is a good resource of where to shop in HK beyond the usual outlets for all sorts of AB.

hollinhurst84 · 02/10/2016 12:54

Lumpy - nearly all cleared, I'm going to do some bare faced pics in a few weeks!
Products are
AM - boots botanics gentle cleansing cream
Ordinary alpha arbutin
Secret key 24k moisturiser
Etude house face blur

PM - olay eye makeup remover cream (can't use anything else on eyes)
Trilogy rose cleansing balm
Then I alternate days so either ordinary retinol or ordinary HA/B5 and niaci
Secret key 24k moisturiser
Any sleeping pack I have

AuroraPolaris · 02/10/2016 12:56

Botemp I hope they've simply run out and not stopped stocking??? Glad I bought the big bottle last time I ordered.
Love your phrasing- since I was on eBay anyway...... Wink might adopt it myself!!
Do report about the SU oil pls - you know I love all things oil.
Didge Watsons is supposed to stock all Naruko products we have been raving about. I haven't tried them yet (cause they are still on the way) but if your concerns are mainly aging and dehydration have a look at the Magnolia line or any hyaluronic acid stuff and maybe buy a nice hydrating mist for the flight back and the winter back here.
Ginseng stuff is also supposed to be very good for aging concerns.

DidgeDoolittle · 02/10/2016 13:16

Thank you all. There is a big Watsons next to the hotel. It would be rude not to have a little mooch around, wouldn't it?Smile

botemp · 02/10/2016 14:12

If they have them get the Naruko Magnolia sheet masks if they have them Didge. Muji also has way more skin and body care there, the lemon grass bath salts are lovely.

I doubt it Aurora, ici always messes around with their DHC stock. With my luck they'll be in stock again tonight. Will report on the SU it's supposed to be a bit richer and nourishing but supposedly you use less and it lasts longer which was what interested me because as much as I like the Muji one it does run out quite quickly.

LumpySpacedPrincess · 02/10/2016 14:26

You look amazing hollin, your routine is working.

I'm gonna start the Ordinary retinol tonight.

I had a lovely time sorting out my Mother Ship Basket today, it's categorized by cleansers, actives, hydrators and oils. I had an enormous sense of well being after it was all sorted [saddo emoticon]

hollinhurst84 · 02/10/2016 14:43

Good luck Wink I found it v tingly

AuroraPolaris · 02/10/2016 19:32

Didge you obviously chose your hotel very well indeed Grin
I think it would be a crime not to buy some stuff in Watsons while being so close.....

Lumpy I'm very curious about the retinol as it could be a good replacement for me Skinceuticals 1%. Just think of the money I'll save can spend on other skincare!!!!!

AuroraPolaris · 05/10/2016 20:54

Well, my "personal shopper" is back and this is what he came up with -

Box of Naruko Magnolia masks
Box of Naruko Rose HA masks
Box of L'HERBOFLORE HA Biocellulose masks
L'HERBOFLORE Eight Elixir mask, Job's Tears mask, Honeysuckle Balancing mask.
Naruko Magnolia Night gelly

The rest of the stuff I asked for was sold out...

Trying the Magnolia mask tonight ;)

hollinhurst84 · 13/10/2016 02:55

My skin is still transforming, I could cry! Time of the month and I have one spot. Usually I would have maybe 5-10 and new ones appearing all over my jaw and chin. The marks from the old acne are fading, skin feels more toned, and my sebaceous filaments are receding - I think the pores on my nose look smaller too
Waiting for daylight to do pics

mellowingmm · 13/10/2016 11:31

I love the make up there - The eyeliners are amazing! Highly recommend Etude House

botemp · 13/10/2016 19:01
Grin

Good to hear The Ordinary is giving such great results in such a short period of time hollin, do you accredit it to anything in particular or is it the combination of actives that's doing it for you, you think? What's your routine like now? I had that nose shrinkage too when I started using PC's BHA, it's kind of freaky but I think it's just down to the fact that it stops being inflamed and probably how the light plays with it too. If I keep up the regular lymph drainage facial massage every night my face looks significantly smaller too.

How'd the personal shopper do, Aurora? What have you been liking and loathing?

hollinhurst84 · 13/10/2016 19:30

I think it's just the actives in general!
Here is my chin normally at the time of the month and my skin today - no foundation, just translucent powder

Hello everyone. I don't usually post here but thought you might like to know (if you didn't already) that TK Maxx (and I know it varies from store to store) and a LOAD of Korean stuff in at the moment. Etude House, Holika Holika, Milky Piggy, etc.

AuroraPolaris · 25/10/2016 19:00

Ughhhh I stopped yet again receiving alerts from the thread, and I've been away so haden't checked. Can't understand why the site keeps doing it every few weeks???

botemp since I've been away I haven't really tried too much yet, but I did take and LOVE the Naruko night gelly. I had a little spot after the first one-two uses but it might have been accidental as now it's totally fine.
I did try the magnolia mask once and it felt lovely but I had a very stressful week back then so looking forward to trying it again in more normal circumstances and seeing the full effects.

Just checked the Deciem site and they are now shipping The Ordinary products to NL. Yeahhhh!!!
Vit C 23% is already in my shopping basket.
Any advise on what else to order is very welcome! I'm thinking about the Buffet and the Matrixil serums but obviously I feel like ordering everything
Won't order the retinol yet as I still have quite a bit left of the Skinceutical 1%.
